It does not matter how many snacks I bring to the picnic by the beach, these are the snacks that are going to get eaten first. Kids and adults love these Bonnie & Pop Drenched Pretzel Rods. I love that you can get a full variety of coatings in your container, but what I love most, that I didn't even know would be so wonderful, is the delicious, rich layer of caramel that is between the pretzel and the chocolate on some of these treats. It makes such a big difference. It takes a decently good snack and makes it pure indulgence.

Something to do in My Free Time!

Solitaire.org brought back a bit of nostalgia for me.

My teen and I were playing board games last weekend, and when he was going through the games, he was shocked to come across playing cards. I told him we've had them forever (some of them from before he was even born). I used to put photos on everything, so we have a few decks of cards from places I traveled to even before he was born. That got me thinking that the only cards I've played with him that he might remember are Old Maid and Uno. If memory serves me correctly, we've used the regular cards to play Slap Jack or Go Fish, but he'd have been too young maybe, to recall those times. My grandma used to play EVERYTHING with me... Bingo, puzzles, board games, and cards. We'd play double solitaire sometimes, or when I was busy doing whatever kids do, she'd pick the deck up and play a game of solitaire on her own. I can still see her sitting at her dining room table playing. It's a fond memory for me. Every memory of my gram is a fond memory. 

So, when I coincidentally came across Solitaire.org the next day, I decided to take a little time out to play. It was nice to just sit down and do nothing that had a deadline, for a bit of time. It's free to play and there are a ton of other games you can select too.

The House of Sillage Calls My Name

Tiara from the House of Sillage is a standout in both looks and content. I guess you could say she is beautiful inside and out. Most of the fragrances at HOS are in the shape of a cupcake, carefully adorned with hand-placed Swarovski crystals, and that alone makes them a collector’s delight. I will admit this does look remarkable in my perfume rotation, and it always makes me happy to see it. It is the fragrance inside, however, that has me doing cartwheels on the beach…or should I say in the flower patch (?), since it is a floral scent.
