Prayer Link

Sometimes we could all use a lending hand with something.  I am a firm believer in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.  In the Bible, Matthew 18:20, we can find this verse:  "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." (KJV).

I believe you can pray alone and still feel the presence of God in your life, but I also believe there is power in numbers.  If you have a prayer request that you would like help with, please feel free to leave it here.  I would be happy to pray with you, and I'm guessing others might be as well.

  10. Please put my 1 1/2 yr old grandson Ryder on you prayer list, he has been sick for a couple of months now and we can't seem to get the Dr.s to do much for him and now this week he is very sick with sores in his mouth, running a constant fever, pain, and not wanting to eat or even drink much. My daughter has had him to the Dr. about 7 times and is at the ER as we speak to see if another Dr. will take care of the poor little guy. Thank you and God Bless.

Please help me pray for my daughter E. She has rejected me after 30 years because of her father's lies. Please pray that she realize her biggest disfunction in her life was having to grow up with parental alienation syndrom. This has been so painful for me and her grandmother. 19. I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate that you have this here. Never seen it before and if I never see it again, I am thankful that it is here. I have Lupus and have been in a flare for over a year. My pain and exhaustion are at a level I cannot explain. Please pray for my family as I think it is harder on them to see me like this, than it is for me to experience. Thank you so much!

    2. Hello there, Rosey. I am here again.

I'm sure you know by now what we've been going through lately. I am asking for another favor once again. Please pray for Jeff that he soon realizes what a good education will bring him and that he has to be a fighter, rather than a quitter.

I don't know anything anymore, Josie. It's as if I am a failure.

    3. You are not a failure. Raising kids can be downright challenging! I'm so happy to lift you and your son up in prayer. I will do so often, as I know how hard it is to get through to a child who is just not listening/really hearing.

    4. Hello there, Rosey! It's been a year since I last posted on this prayer link, but I come in here once in a while to check on your beautiful pics.

I just want to thank you for your prayers. Jeff is back on track. He's doing better at school. In fact, he's on the 2nd term of his freshman year. Finances are still on the low, but we get by somehow. My relationship with Jeff is back to what it used to - we are very close again!

Rwan's speech is getting better as well, though she can not pronounce the words right just yet, but at least she talks a lot now. She might start schooling next year (another financial challenge for me), if her vocabulary improves.

We are now currently looking for a new place to stay. We have until mid-May2015 to move out. This is the challenge we are facing right now aside from the finances. But I Know God will be there for us.

      Again, thank you Rosey! ;o)

    5. I'm so happy you stopped by. I think of you from time to time too, and am glad to hear your son is doing so well!!!

I often (today even!) find strength in this verse.

I can do all things through Christ[a] who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

I will pray for you now too! I hope you find a place that brings you and your family so many new blessings.

  27. Hi Rosey,

Thanks for doing this. I would greatly appreciate your prayers for me and my family. You may have read on my blog that I lost my beloved mother, May 1 while my hubby and I were out of the country. We cut the trip short to come home for her funeral. Then, two weeks later, my dear father-in-law died. Two weeks later, our oldest got married. One week later, my son had sinus surgery. Two weeks later, I had major shoulder surgery with major pain.

I miss my mom so much. I know she's in heaven with m father-in-law. But I miss them. Her death was unexpected although his was expected. It doesn't take away the pain though.

I would just appreciate prayer that I can learn to enjoy life again. And for relief of pain in my shoulder and from the migraines. Pain can wear anyone down.

God has been good during this time. But it's a long road I'm on. Thanks again!

  35. Ok this new to me. I love it! Ive never seen a blog with this on it. Hmmmm Its just my 14 yr old and I and sometimes it can get kinda hairy lol. God never leaves me nor forsakes me I do want to add. Jesus DID tell us we would have troubles. BUT, They help me :) Friday coming home from work in our drive kinds, my brakes went totally out. I was coming down the incline so I was sorta in my long drive lol, I was able to veer it to a ditch on left and it stopped. I was also on packed snow that was kinda ice. I put it in reverse and Backed in my drive, very very very slowly. lol. Its been to cold to really get out there and work on it, and honestly, the master cyclindar is what I think it could be, but I dont have the money to pay someone to come look at it nor to take it somewhere. So we sit. Neighbor took me to work and picked me up today, and hopefull all week. I dont have the money to fix it and Feb is short month. I have 350$ Utility Bill to pay first. Not much food here, but I gotta pay that bill cause my new one comes in next week. I clean houses, and I dont have many for next week that will help me buy groc, pay utilities, and fix car. If there were 2 incomes it would be different, but theres only me :). Dont go feeling sorry for me, I know God will take care of it! But There IS power in agreement!! There IS power in numbers praying. Just agree with me that God is in control and taking care of everything right now. :) TY

    1. Ok. WOOOWHOOOO God came thru. Went to work the next day after my prayer request, ad thier son was there, and he is a mechanic. He came over Sunday and fixed my car. Cost me 55$, Paid the 350$ utility bill from all my work last week, and my son showed up Sat. night withmy grandaughter (2yr) for the weekend. Of course the first thing my boys (all 4 of them) do when they come over is open the fridgerator lol. He opened it, then closed it, and said "Mom, were going grocery shopping"! I never said a word lol. He spent 220$ :) Yep it was all God. My son lives 3 hours away, and it was unexpected. On Friday the people I work for told me they were going on a cruise and wouldnt be here the following week so they paid me for BOTH weeks which added to my total of what I had made that week and I was able to pay the utility bills. WOOOWHOOOO and totop it all off, I had 20$ left over lol. TY for all who Prayed. I know God listens and answers!! But please dont quit praying lol. Next week I have no work except on Friday. My daughter is going to Aquire the Fire (hope you know what that is ) the following week and I have to pay for it and the meals and the motel next weekend. its only 160$ well, its really only 80 but I am giving extra to help pay for someone who doesnt have money to go. So please dont forget me :) TY God!!!

First I want to tell ya, My new lady I got in my last post to clean for, found out, (by listening to a conversation I had with my son who called) that I would be leaving next week to help him with my grandaughter. He goes to court Monday to get her week on week off. People DO talk. She called one of the people I also clean for cause they are friends and told her, and so forth and so forth, by the end of theday, my peoples all had found out and I was booked solid for this week :) I have the money today to pay my daughters trip and the whole 160$ I got the bills paid that I needed to this week, and I have money left over lol. (Not much lol) But through all of it, I also have next week booked :) in case he doesnt get my grandaughter. I want to help him out, but at the same time, my car isnt good enough to drive back and forth on these weeks. He told me he would buy me a car if I would do this a month ago, but wont talk about it now. He also said Mom I will pay you for helping me to have her, but when I mention a little bit of money, he always says, I gotta go...(On phone) I just want God to have His perfect will in this situation cause I know if it isnt Gods will, it wont work. I really dont want the money or the car, but I so know my car is a 96 and on its last leg in the transmission at the drive is 3 hrs. Please pray

  48. I need prayers for my beautiful friend & her entire family. Her last name is Wood. 8 days ago early in the morning my life long friend found her 23 year old son hanging by his neck outside on their basement stairs. She is beyond devastated as is her whole family. We all are. I can not express to you what a beautiful soul this boy has. So kind, thoughtful, generous. A gifted human with musical abilities that many do not posses. The world is a duller place with him not in it. I am so worried for my friend. She is a resilient human. Who has had many many struggles in her life. Myself being a mother who has buried a child knows that it is VERY HARD to continue living having suffered this kind of soul crushing loss. I am so worried that we will loose her too. PLEASE anyone & everyone that reads this pray for her comfort, some sort of peace to envelop her & her husband & surviving sons as well. Pray that we do not loose her.She needs sweet mercy right now. No one can truly KNOW her pain, her agony nor her personal misery. Except the good Lord. I pray that he lifts her and her entire family up.It is hurting me so much that I can not ease her pain. Anything short of her beautiful son walking though her front door will not make her feel better. Helpless . That is what we all are during these tragedies. We can not roll back time and undo what has been done. Why do such ugly things happen to such beautiful people? I can never understand this nor get past it! There are NO answers! Only more questions and that all too familiar helpless fog that envelops & smothers us . Leaving us gasping & grasping for HOPE & PEACE were there is very little to be found.... Thank you for having a spot to post up prayer request. When it comes to matters that are so rock bottom hard the only thing we have to combat it is the power of prayer.
