BayB Brand Bean Bag Chair

Disclosure: I received a product to help facilitate the review. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

The BayB Brand Bean Bag Chair in green
It comes in many other colors/patterns

This review is not going to be at all like my normal review. Most of my product reviews show us using a product, but for this one, the sweet little girl who was supposed to be in the BayB Brand Bean Bag Chair, is instead in ICU. She was full-term, and all was going as planned when they discovered the cord was wrapped around her neck. Mom was given an instant C-section and baby was emergency transported to a specialty hospital. The sweet baby girl has been hooked up to wires, put out with sedatives, and wrapped in cooling blankets. After a few days now, she has just opened her eyes and things are looking good. Very good.

You can see the seat belt up close here.
It's soft on baby's legs and tummy but has a firm closing plastic clip.

My welcome home gift for her was one of these awesome BayB Brand Bean Bag Chairs. I ordered green because mom and dad (my nephew and his wife) didn't want to know the baby's sex prior to her birth. Green was safe, and cute for either color. The chair comes in ten different colors/patterns.  On top of the chair, where baby rests, you will find a harness that is made of the same soft material as the top of the chair.

The dimensions are 28.4 x 16.1 x 20.5 and it weighs less than a pound. It is easy to wipe clean. The top of the chair is fully over locked and double stitched for security and comfort. There is an actual entire layer of the soft green fabric zipped over the top of the chair. This gives it extra strength to ensure no beans escape.

As noted by BayB Brand, their bean bag chair helps prevent the development of flat head and relieves acid reflux and gas, both very important for the new little one in the house. It is also very portable and would be great to take on overnight trips, or for just having a safe place to tuck baby in close to mom or dad while they go about the house doing their daily chores.

My nephew's sweet baby girl will be home to enjoy her
BayB Brand Bean Bag Chair in no time at all!

Our chair is patiently waiting for sweet baby girl to come to her home, but it's going to be a couple of weeks still. It was a rough start for a perfect pregnancy, but that's okay... we have no doubt that the little one is going to be 100% okay and very happy to be home when she gets there! My nephew sent me a video of her all hooked up to her machines and crying. He said, 'Let it all out, it's okay.' She stopped crying and was listening for his voice. It was wonderful. And we all love her like she's been here forever. :)

This chair retails for $69.99, and it's worth every penny. :) Check out the many other styles and patterns of BayB Brand Bean Bag Chairs by visiting their website. You can also find them on Amazon, Facebook, and/or Twitter.

Wordless Wednesday: Comparing Paris and Cleveland. Say What?

The pyramid in front of Louvre in Paris, France (my favorite art museum in the world to visit!).

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio

The same architect,  I.M.. Pei, did both...
I find the contrast of  locations surprising.
Cool, but surprising. :)

FabKids Gets Studious!

Disclosure: I received a FabKids outfit to help facilitate the review. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

One of the fun archways in the new kids' room!
My son is wearing the FabKids Stripe Colorblock Tee
and the Classic Straight Denim Pants

One of the libraries close to us just had a major overhaul done, and one of the things they did was add a bona fide kid's room to the building. Previously, they had just a small play area designated in the adult section, so this was a big and very welcome change!

We are Having a Good Time with our Funnybone Toys (with #giveaway)

Disclosure: I received sample products to help facilitate the review. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

 Funnybone Toys assortment

The time you spend with your child doing one-on-one activities is priceless, and I know as probably do you, that it's often the little things that help shape our fondest memories. I had a grandma with a cabinet full of board games and puzzles, and we played at least one almost every time we were together. Many years later, I still remember that time spent very fondly.  She also had a round tin, which probably had cookies in it once upon a time. It had a great picture on the top, a rainy day walking scene, which is why, I suspect now, she kept it. It was what was inside the box that was the treasure though. It was filled with buttons. See, my grandma was a sewer and if you sew, you've gotta have buttons. ;)  She kept that tin stored up high, but every once in awhile she'd take it down and let me sort through, count, and organize them. Oh how I loved going through that button stash. :)
