Well, October was Awesome but Let's do Breast Cancer Awareness All Year Long! Carpet One #Giveaway

October was a great month! We did all the things you're supposed to do, and we loved every second of it. We took lots of pictures along the way too with family and friends! I got a picture of the four kiddos we took to the pumpkin patch, inside a classic stand-up photo-opp display, and it makes me laugh every time I see it.

Holiday #Giveaway! These 4 Books Sold at Quarto Knows are Going Right on the Christmas List!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my Quarto Knows-loving own.

1. Happy Mail by Eunice & Sabrina Moyle

Some people still love to get mail. My mom is definitely one of those people. She has never owned a computer, nor does she care to...so to her the 'old fashioned' way of communicating with those who live long distance is via 'snail mail.' My kids all get letters from her, as do I, and every single holiday and birthday we all get greeting cards with notes in them too (and the kids get money, lol, who doesn't love a card from grandma with a few dollars tucked inside??). I save every single one she sends in our 'keepsakes' or the kids' 'baby boxes.' She would LOVE to get this Happy Mail book that is full of fun ways to send out notes to her friends and loved ones.

Foundation Fighting Blindness: Slow Down Age Related Macular Degeneration

Age-related Macular Degeneration is the leading cause of blindness in people over 55. But with treatment it can be slowed down, stopped, and in some cases reversed. That is a big deal. If there is any way at all, that is safe of course, to help prevent blindness, isn't it definitely worth looking into? I think definitely, yes!

Blindness played in a role in my childhood, with my grandfather having sight in only one eye during his latter years. It affected so many things, but he was a real champ about it, and honestly if he complained, I never heard him. I know he missed being able to see us grow like he had been able to before. With limited or diminished vision so many things are affected. Make sure you see your grandchildren grow! Protect your vision by requesting information about diagnosing and treating AMD.

Call the FOUNDATION FIGHTING BLINDNESS TODAY AT 1-800-BLINDNESS for a free packet on reversing or managing AMD. Or, go to the website fightblindness.org, where I found so much helpful information, or again, call 1-800-BLINDNESS today!

15% off Colortime Color-and-Glow Trick or Treat Bag!

Disclosure: We received a complimentary bag. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Every little bit of illumination helps when the kids are out Trick-or-Treating at night. This bag from Colortime is awesome because not only do the spider web and letters glow in the dark (practically the whole front side of this generously-sized bag lights up) but the kids get to decorate it too!
