We have been fortunate that our cat has shown only a very mild interest in the Christmas Tree over the years. I see online though, that others are not so lucky. Some of you are definitely facing various cat-astrophes and twinkling tinsel turmoil that would leave Santa's elves running for cover, lolol!
I'm sorry that I'm laughing... Someone make a cat-proof tree that people love too!
When faith and intellect intersect, you know there's going to be a story to tell. "Surprised by Oxford" is a movie based on a memoir by Caro Weber, a former scholar of and then first female dean at one of the Oxford University colleges.
I don't usually watch romantic movies. They make me cry. And the classic and predictable scenes of true love did indeed leave me weepy, but it was such a good story as well. I recommend seeing it, if you're looking to relax and be entertained. It's worth watching.

I had a big post of the pros and cons of teaching in my new school district written but for the sake of privacy (I would never want to offend students or parents), I have deleted it. It's stifling not to be able to share, but that is probably the way it should be. I will tell you 2 true stories though. Both left, 'Wow, that's incredible!' impressions in my mind and on my heart.
