Camp Hideout in Theaters Sept 15 plus $100 Fandango GC Giveaway

Let's talk about the upcoming new movie: Camp Hideout starting Corbin Bleu and Christopher Lloyd.
The story starts off a little ambiguous but when the mom's boyfriend makes his exit and the police show up, it's not hard to guess – that the main character Noah is left on his own. Fast forward to his teen years, and Noah's choices take a downward spiral as he ends up hanging out with some shady characters. These crooks want him to steal something from a business building, and he actually goes through with it. But things start to go even more south when he gets caught by building security. He barely escapes and ends up on a bus he was scheduled to catch, headed to a summer camp. The trip is one that his social worker cooked up as a last-ditch effort to keep him out of trouble.
No surprise, Noah doesn't exactly fit in at this sunny camp. To make matters worse, he's got to deal with a fellow camper his age who seems to have it out for him from the get-go.
What Noah doesn't know is that the sketchy guys he got mixed up with are still after him for what he stole (and still has on his person). But here's the what's developed – Noah has come to care about his new camp buddies, and in order to protect them, he decides he has to run away from camp.

I've always been a huge Dennis Quaid fan, so I'm very happy to see he's starring in a new movie: The Hill. The storyline on this one captured my attention. Who doesn't love a good underdog story?
After getting kicked out of his church for asking town members not to smoke or chew tobacco during Sunday service, Pastor Hill loads his family into his car and his furniture on top of it. Only to find himself on the side of the road out of gas. Upset, he prays for a sign and gets a flat tire and a thunderstorm that soaks his furniture and his family to the bone.

(Almost) Wordless Wednesday: School Days
I switched schools this year to be closer to home.
At the interview I was told I'd come in with the 7-year teacher salary that I was making at my old job.
At HR I was told I come in at starting pay, period (a few thousand less than I make made).
Then, I was told I have to wait an extra 2 weeks for a paycheck
because the onboarding process took so long.
That was an unexpected surprise.
I haven't had a paycheck since June. 👀😖
