It's my 10th year blogging, hurrah! Ten years of giveaways, getting to know you and enjoying this hobby. Thank you to everyone who has visited, does visit, or will visit in the future. You are truly appreciated. To celebrate my blog-iversary AND Christmas in July (yes!!! that is a thing), please take a moment to read how we're celebrating the holiday (by shopping, lol) and then enter to win a $100 Amazon gift card, so you can do some shopping too!
Many of you already know that I love Christmas. Like many people, it is my most favorite holiday, and I love every single thing about it. The thing is, when it is the traditional time to shop for holiday decor, everyone else who loves the holiday season is also doing the same thing. That means I sometimes do not get the things I want, when I want them, so to be proactive, and prevent such nonsense ;) I stock up in July!
Have you heard of Christmas in July? If yes, high five! If not, look around and see all of the great sales you can find this time of year, from merchants who are celebrating it too. :)
Each year I select a few holiday items I love and tuck them away until the day after Thanksgiving (which is when we start to decorate). That day will be here before you know it.
EVERY year, I say I'm going to get a holiday bedding set. And every year, I cannot find one that I love in stock. The solution? Christmas in July!! This year, I'll be ready to go with this queen sized Merry-Town 6-piece quilt bedding set that is $50 off right now. Hurray for big savings! 🎅
If you like the print you see, you can get a 3-pc. twin set for UNDER $50. This is the price of the year, such a good deal: welcome to Christmas in July!! The 6-pc. set I have (shown above), is the Merry Town oversized quilt set and is still a wonderful bargain at $109 for all six pieces (queen size set). It's high quality too, doesn't wrinkle, and it is machine washable, which is important to me. I usually get comforter sets for my bed, but I'm so happy I chose the quilted version for this one. It's absolutely stunning and not likely to bunch up after a couple of washings like my comforters always do. Who knows, maybe this will convert me to quilts for good!

Prices are crazy good right now, and depending on the size of your bed, you can score a bedding set for $50 or less, including the one I showed if you get the 3-piece set!!
This is a Christmas in July purchase worth making!
Those of you who appreciate Christmas ornaments like I do, will be so happy to come across the huge selection of items available at Old World Christmas. When I was shopping around for my Christmas in July post, I picked up two ornaments. One is an FSU stocking, the other is this MSU hoodie. I received four degrees (which were all sources of celebration when I earned them) so anything that represents my alma maters is welcome on my Christmas tree. In fact, most of my ornaments represent something important to me, a family member, something one of the kids or grandkids made, a special event (like graduation), a trip, etc.
Check out Old World Christmas to see what you might like to buy for your tree!
Certified International makes THE best plates for Christmas that I have ever come across. These are heavy duty and can go in the dishwasher and the microwave. If you get a chance to buy these, they are unmatched for quality and they're simply gorgeous. They have plates for every season (and every day!). The set I have is discontinued now (and I'm so happy I now have it because they are so colorful and pretty!) but you can find so many good ones on their website, or on Amazon.
Which leads me to the giveaway... Happy 10-Year Blogiversary to me, and Happy Chrsitmas in July to you and me!
