Wooden Eggs and a Wonderful Story to Share for Easter

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

It is getting closer to Easter now, and though that will definitely look different for us this year than it ever has before, we do still intend to celebrate. One way we will be doing that is with the Easter Story Egg, which is a kit that includes one story book that details the meaning behind the holiday, and a 7-piece, real wood nesting egg set. The eggs are opened one day at a time, starting on Palm Sunday and going through Easter Sunday when the tomb was found empty.

One way we're keeping busy while we are choosing to stay home during this time of social distancing is crafts; ready-made-kits or things we are coming up with on our own. One of the best things we have done by far, up to this point, is create jewelry with this kit from Simply Modern Trendy Touch (S.M.T.T.) by DIY Jewelry.

And in the Blink of an Eye...

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

It's Wednesday, Spring Break for us, and I have to go into work tomorrow, to pick up items so I can teach online through the middle of April. We'll see what happens then... I gave my resignation awhile ago, and am teaching only through the end of this school year, but with the virus changing everything, now I'm starting to panic a little. One thing I have to have is a job. Those were fairly easy to get two weeks ago, but now? Now things are different. In a blink of an eye, everything changed. Funny how that happens, isn't it? I've seen it before, but it never fails to surprise me when it comes to visit (sudden and thorough change).

Hard to believe Easter is on its way, but it surely is. We are already a little over a week into March and Spring Break is just around the corner. Easter will hop on in right after that, and I am happy to say this year, I am ready early! Later this week I will put up my favorite 2 non-candy (but edible) Easter Basket picks, as well as one more post for a great gift idea (that will also have a giveaway!). For now though, these are my top 7 picks for filling up the kiddos Easter Baskets this year!

CLEARstem VITAMINscrub for My Son's Acne

Disclosure: this is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

You probably don't see what I see, but I only see it because little man (not so little man) is so stressed out about it. There just about to reach his chinny-chin-chin is a little zit and it is driving him crazy! The funny thing about it (if there is a funny thing about acne) is that he is only 12-years-old!! His body is definitely maturing faster than any of my other children's did. He already needs deodorant, you can see a teeny-tiny mustache forming, and now the acne. I assured him that all of these things are very normal and to be expected, and that every tween/teen boy is going to go through the same issues. That might reassure him a little bit, but it wasn't as welcome as the acne wash was, when I brought it to him in the bathroom the same day this little unexpected friend showed up on his face. We had high hopes that the CLEARstem VITAMINscrub would help clear up this little blemish that was creating his angst.

I chose this brand because I wanted him to have something effective but still gentle, because he honestly is still just a kid. We want to be careful about what he puts on his face. CLEARstem Skincare has an antioxidant VITAMINscrub that works well on acne that gets on your jawline like this, and also removes any dead skin cells that are hanging out on your face, and it does so gently.

It smells pretty great, and it good for all skin types, including sensitive, which is what I consider any tween's skin to still be. It is designed for daily use, and doesn't have the harsh feel that many acne products on the market do today. The environmentally-friendly bamboo particles in the scrub act as a polish to resurface the skin and keep pores clear.

After my son used it, his skin texture appeared smooth and refined. He has a healthy glow. I attribute that to his youth, but there is a visible healthy looking difference after using the scrub as well. His pores aren't a big problem yet, but I can see where they are starting to be visible on his nose, and using this scrub will also help nip that little problem in the bud. From our use with it so far, and he has been using it for a couple of weeks, I highly recommend. This is exactly what we were looking for, when it comes to taking care of my son's skin. Learn more by visiting the CLEARstem website, and see if it works to help clear up acne for you as well!
