Some of you know my granddaughter isn't allowed to eat artificially flavored sweets. She gets her sweet goodness from items made in nature, like peaches and strawberries. While this is a good thing, it makes for a bit of challenge to make her feel like she is part of the festivities when holidays roll around. Think about it... while I love Easter and the goodies that go in the basket, none of those things are good for the little one, so her parents aren't having it. I admire that about them. As a grandma who loves to spoil her one and only sweet grandbaby girl, I make sure to find items that I know she'll love so much, that she won't miss the sugary treats she sees those all around her getting at the same time. And so far, she doesn't! Hurrah! This year, I'm filling her Easter Basket with Magical Movers. No one loves a princess as much as my little princess, so I already know she's going to be deeelighted and then some with her special gifts.

Today My Son is Sick: Sleep Zzz Pillow to the Rescue
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.
Last night, between the hours of midnight and 2 a.m., my son was up and down intermittently, crying, running a fever and generally just not feeling well. His biggest complaint was that his throat was so sore. This all took us completely by surprise, because the very day before he had been perfectly fine. My granddaughter did get sick on Saturday morning when we were visiting, but that was 3 days ago!! Could it take that long for germs to manifest themselves into what we were dealing with (and the symptoms were not exactly the same)? I have no idea, but suffice it to say, I had to call off work and he stayed home from school. He got up and came to me on the couch, with his trusty Sleep Zzz Pillow under his arm, and his favorite blanket (that is really my blanket, a Christmas gift he confiscated and never returned, a couple of years back). ;) He promptly fell asleep and didn't wake up, except for water once, until the day was almost entirely over.

Over the weekend I took my granddaughter to the mall to go shopping at the toy store. She's at the age where searching through the shoppes is really fun, and she definitely knows what she likes. We also decided to go pick out a new dress for Spring/Easter. To accompany her purchase, I brought along a Stretch Butterfly Necklace, Ring and Bracelet set from SmitCo LLC., which she absolutely loved!

$25 Visa Gift Card and Free Product Coupons: “Make the Pledge” to Recycle with TerraCycle® & Little Bites® #PledgetoRecycle
Disclosure: The coupons for product redemption, information, and gift card have been provided by Entenmann’s Little Bites® so that I could try the product and share information about the Entenmann's Little Bites ® Pouch Recycling Program with TerraCycle® and my thoughts and information about Entenmann’s Little Bites®. The opinions expressed in this post are my own and do not reflect the opinions of Entenmann’s Little Bites®.
My son and I take turns with the chores. One week he packs our lunches for the day, and the next I do. On the weeks he packs, he always makes sure to tuck a Little Bites into my lunchbox (and of course, his too). ;) I don't mind, they're pretty tasty. We both have our own favorite flavor, and on the weeks I know he'll be packing, I always make sure to have some of each in the house. I also take them with me sometimes as a snack, if we're going somewhere that's going to have us away from home for a good bit. Making sure there are snack options for the kids ensures they don't get grouchy before we get home to eat a proper meal. Besides tasting great, it always seems Entenmann's Little Bites® is also doing something great. Right now they've partnered with Terra Cycle, another wonderful organization, to help the environment in a big way, and to give away great prizes (I also have a giveaway at the end of this post).

Jumping Jack is the Perfect Easter Gift from Goliath Games!
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.
Goliath has made the perfect game to give kids for Easter. Since my granddaughter has a Switch Fairy in her house (someone who switches candy out for much healthier options), this is a perfect gift to give her, so she still gets something special for the holiday. Jumping Jack is a cute little rabbit, who sits on the 'ground' that is stuffed with carrots. Pull the carrots out one-by-one (according to the number you get on the spinner), and at some point he will jump right up in the air. If it's your turn, and you catch him when he jumps, you become the winner!

Entryways USA Cat Litter or Door Mat Giveaway
Disclosure: I did receive a complimentary product. All opinions stated, however, are genuine and my own.
This is the newest member of our family. She's a 10-years old rescue cat with the sweetest personality in the world. We love her little gentles paws at you when she wants attention, her carefree attitude, that she loves to play, that she finds the one little spot on the couch to sleep on that isn't covered with a blanket, hahaha, and that she fits right in, like she's always lived here. :)

Clearwater Marine Aquarium: Such a Fun Trip to Take with the Kids!
Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.
Clearwater, Florida is home to beautiful sunsets, a fun beach and a plethora of lovely waterside locations to visit, including the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. This isn't your ordinary aquarium though, it is special for many reasons; the two most famous are a). it was the location, and has the dolphins and many movie props, for the Dolphin Tale movies and b). it is a Rescue, Rehabilitate and Release (if possible) facility. I thought it was the former that would be the big attraction, and it was nice to see such things, but this facility is a wonderful place to visit all on its own!
