Do you celebrate Valentine's Day? I do, but not like I used to for so many years. Now, instead of getting gifts that are a surprise, I treat myself to something special, or a few something specials. And I give my granddaughters a little something-something.
Ooly has everything you would want for crafting and they have a whole selection of items that are shaped like hearts! They also have a discount going on right now for those heart-shaped items, so how could I resist? I picked up a stack of heart-shaped markers that snap into one another. A colorful sheet of heart stickers. And Olly heart ring crayons. You can wear them on your fingers and color with them. I am 100% certain that my granddaughters are going to love those.
Hugo Coffee Roasters is a great choice for a Valentine's Day gift for everyone. From the office, to your friends, to a loved one, or even for yourself, this a great gift idea. There are many varieties and flavors to choose from and every online purchase leads to a donation to smaller animal shelters all across the nation.
Fragrances make an excellent choice for a Valentine's Day gift, and I couldn't resist indulging in a selection of samples from Fragrances Line. Niche scents often come with a hefty price tag, prompting me to adopt the "try before you buy" mantra long ago. With 7 scents on my radar, I was excited to ordre them as samples. I prefer getting the smallest size samples to test them out. They allow for up to 3 wears, usually enough to know if I've found the right fragrance for me. Bigger sizes are available if preferred.
When I find a fragrance I like for day wear, I might upgrade to a travel-size such as was the case with Helen Ficalora's Montauk Bloom perfume. This light floral is pleasant and not at all overpowering. At 6ml., it is the perfect size to tuck into my purse and take with m eon the go. You can also find some pretty jewelry pieces on her website to take your holiday gift giving one step further.
Hermetica's Bloomtea is a 'clean' and alcohol-free fragrance with a mission behind it from its famous perfumers to create a line of scents that were not going to be a challenge to our health or the environment. They also have one tree planted for every Hermetica fragrance purchase that is made online (they have quite a few scents to choose from now). In addition to being conscientious, these scents are all unique and very high quality niche selections, and the Bloomtea is no exception. Housed in a beautiful frosted green glass bottle with a heavy gold cap, this fragrance was worth purchasing in a full-sized bottle. It is made up of the following notes:
Top: White Lavender, Green Tea Extract, Clary Sage Essence
Heart: Rose Absolute, Geranium Essence, Heliotrope, Pear
Heart: Rose Absolute, Geranium Essence, Heliotrope, Pear
Base: Musk, Moss, Tonka Bean
