Kudos to Trefl for finding a way to put a new spin on jigsaw puzzles! A wooden puzzle is a novelty in and of itself, at least when it is done this way, but having one where each piece of the puzzle is in the shape of an animal itself is rather extraordinary and makes for a most excellent gift idea.
As if the concept wasn't cute enough on its own, Trefl took it even further and decorated the reverse side of each puzzle piece AND then then put everything together in environmentally friendly packaging. Again, kudos to this company for being innovative, and for making such gorgeous puzzles. There are SO many to choose from on their website. We went with a cat because my oldest granddaughter loves cats more than I can even say. In fact, right now I'm on the search for a "world's best cat grandpa" t-shirt to gift my son (her dad) because I know it will make her giggle so. Why not 'cat dad?' because she always says, she's the cat mom, which would make her dad a cat gramps. LOL Kid logic is fun.
This particular puzzle is 1,000 pieces so the finished size is a generous 20" x 14.5" when it is complete. My granddaughter frames her finished puzzles and hangs them on her wall. This one is going to look pretty special in her room.
