Looking after your body and mind is the key to enriching your life. At times it can feel like a challenge to stay healthy, but often all you need are simple adjustments. To start adopting healthier habits today, here are a few ideas for inspiration.
1 . Connect with nature
Are you keen to supercharge your health? If you’re looking to feel great in body and mind, you’ve got to connect with nature. Science tells us that spending time in the natural world is one of the best ways to improve our mental health. There are so many different ways to connect to nature, including:
Go on hiking trips or camping trips.
Go on foraging trips and cook using wild foods.
Try wild swimming trips in your local area.
Grow your own vegetables.
To feel great in mind and body you’ve got to keep those endorphin levels high. There are so many different activities that can raise endorphin levels, including laughter, eating chocolate, having acupuncture, or getting creative! Whether you take a dance class or make a painting there are so many fun ways to get the endorphins pumping. Practicing lots of endorphin boosting activities is a great way to boost your mental health.

Consider joining a sports team or running club.
Try a new fitness class, whether it’s Pilates or salsa dance.
Train for a special event (for example a 5k run or a marathon).
