Playmobil Advent Calendars: 24 Days of Fun Holiday Surprises

Disclosure: This is not a paid post. A complimentary product or discount was received. All opinions stated are always genuine and our own.

If you are out shopping this weekend, be sure to pick up the Playmobil Advent Calendar for the kids. This is a tradition that has stood true in our house, and this year, even though my son is now a bona fide teenager, it is still one he wishes to continue (mom squees and jumps around for joy). He's outgrown a lot of things, but this is not one of them.

Each day your child will be thrilled to open a new window and see what is inside, to add to their (included) cardboard diorama. Playmobil is always very generous with the contents they include, with each piece being one the kids are truly excited to discover.

We have the Christmas Toy Store theme (there are many other themes to choose from as well) that includes the following: Figures: 2 women, 1 Santa Claus, 1 boy Accessories: 1 diorama "Christmas in the toy shop", 1 Christmas tree, 1 sales counter with showcase, 1 table, 1 armchair, 1 laptop, 1 pair of scissors, 1 set of writing and painting accessories (6 pieces), 3 books, 1 skateboard, 2 dolls, 1 teddy, 1 doll cradle, 1 fairy, 1 baby rattle, 1 baby bite ring, 2 radios, 1 remote control, 1 racing car, 1 robot, 1 guitar, 1 cassette recorder, 1 microphone, 1 hobbyhorse, 1 strap, 1 toy cart, 1 football, 1 wooden sword, 1 suitcase, 1 bag, 1 Christmas letter, 1 pair of gloves, 1 pair of arm cuffs, 1 peaked cap, 1 fur hat, 1 top hat, 1 collar, 2 children's handbags, 1 Santa hat, 1 shopping bag, 1 gift pack, 1 scooter.

The advent calendar boxes are also a nice size, as you can see from the photo above, and honestly, my son couldn't be more excited for Dec. 1 to arrive, so he can start counting down. These are worth seeking out to buy. They are SUPER affordable (right around $20 with the sales going on right now), the pieces are sturdy and last forever (like all Playmobil toys), and they include holiday-themed items that you won't find so easily any other time of the year. You can find the advent calendars on the Playmobil website or in retail/department stores nationwide.
