There are several things I look for when trying to select a power bank/charger. One is that you can plug it in multiple ways. With the intelliARMOR, you can plug it into the wall to charge alone, or you can charge your device while it is plugged in. You can also unplug it from an outlet and use the charged device as a power bank. Since this is as slim as your phone, it's easy to tuck in your pocket or purse and go, allowing your item to charge while you are on the move.
You can see the outlet prongs in the photo above; those fold down nicely into the little groove you see just behind them, when the charger is not in use.
The 3 attached charging cords also tuck into the recessed sides for safe keeping. This is convenient but it's also smart because it protects them from being snagged on anything while you are out and about. The cords are as follows: 1). lightning cable 2). USB C Cable 3). Micro USB Cable.
As a huge added bonus, you can also use this device to charge wirelessly, if your phone has Qi capability. You can see that function in the photo above. Towards the bottom of the flat panel on the phone you see your charge lights. These all light up when the charger is full, and start to diminish to indicate when it needs to be plugged in.
The device is pretty self-explanatory, but it does come with instructions that include diagrams for user convenience.
I have an Android for my phone and my youngest needs a lightening charger for his device. It's nice to come across a portable charger/power bank that has both types in one. In fact, we can both plug in at the same time to charge, which is going to make this charger super fantastic wonderful on our trips to Disney World...or any other type of travel.
We tend to run out of a charge half way through a trip. Of course, we don't want to carry along anything heavy or bulky while we are on vacation (or even just day-to-day), but this one is truly no problem at all. It's lightweight and you won't even notice it's around.
The cords are not very long, but I like that because it's the feature that allows them to tuck into those recessed sides I mentioned earlier. Long cords would make this hard to carry.
This is actually a product that I think anyone in the family could use at any given time, but since Father's Day is coming up soon, I would be remiss if I did not mention this as a fabulous gift idea.We are crazy about ours, and life is much easier now that we own one.
