If you’re anything like me, you love a cozy fall movie night, one that feels like pumpkin spice and laughter all rolled into one. So when I heard about GROW (coming to theaters October 17!), I knew this would be the perfect family outing for the season.
The story centers around Dinah Little, a no-nonsense farmer, and her spirited niece Charlie, who just happens to have a magical connection with plants. Charlie sets out to grow the biggest pumpkin in town but what blooms along the way is so much more than that. It’s about family, love, and the unexpected ways we grow together.
It’s got everything I love in a fall film, beautiful scenery, a quirky small-town cast, and yes, the kind of warm fuzzies that make you want to bake pumpkin bread afterward. Think “pumpkin spice in film form," seriously!
This movie is cozy, funny, and totally family-friendly, a wonderful alternative to the usual spooky Halloween picks. Plus, I love how it sneaks in a little message about caring for nature and finding joy in the simple things.
