Spark Creativity: Pen Heaven’s New Kids’ Stationery Collection

As a teacher, I’m always on the lookout for little things that brighten my students’ day and encourage them to put pen to paper. That’s why I was so excited when I discovered that Pen Heaven has just launched an enchanting new children’s stationery collection, featuring playful and imaginative products from LEGO and Legami.

This range is designed to combine fun with functionality, the kind of gifts that not only make kids smile, but also help spark their creativity and imagination. As David Cole, CEO at Pen Heaven, put it:

“Children's stationery should spark joy and imagination, not just serve a practical purpose. Our new collection brings together the beloved LEGO brand with Legami's Italian-designed whimsy to create gifts that children will genuinely treasure while making writing, drawing, and organisation an adventure rather than a chore.”

In a world where so much of children’s time is spent on screens, these tactile, colorful items offer something refreshing: the joy of writing, doodling, and note-taking with tools they’ll actually want to reach for.

Here are two of my favorites from the collection:

LEGO Locking Red Notebook & Gel Pen Set

This set is equal parts stylish and practical. The notebook’s embossed LEGO stud design makes it instantly recognizable, and the matching gel pen locks right onto the cover — keeping everything neatly closed.

With 192 ivory lined pages made from FSC-certified paper, it’s perfect for jotting down ideas, sketching, or even keeping a daily journal. The red gel pen not only matches the notebook but writes smoothly with a 0.7mm gel refill.

I can easily see my students (and LEGO fans of all ages) loving this notebook; it’s functional, but also fun enough to feel like a little treasure. Very high quality.

Key Features:

  • LEGO Notebook & Gel Pen Set

  • Red finish with LEGO stud design

  • 192 lined ivory pages

  • Includes a matching LEGO red gel pen

  • Pen attaches securely to notebook closure

Legami Set of 3 Gel Pens – Watermelon, Cactus & Ice Pop

I’ll admit it, these are some of the cutest pens I’ve ever had on my desk. This set comes with three gel pens in cheerful designs: a watermelon, a cactus, and an ice pop. They write in smooth black ink with a fine 0.5mm tip, practical enough for everyday use, but whimsical enough to spark smiles every time they’re picked up.

Even though I teach older students, I can tell you these pens are always the first thing my kids notice when they stop by my desk. In fact, I ended up gifting the ice pop pen to one of my former students who stopped by to say 'hi' (who also coincidentally, doubles as my son's girlfriend 💘). It’s safe to say these pens have been a hit in more ways than one.

Key Features:

  • Set of 3 gel pens (Watermelon, Cactus & Ice Pop)

  • Black ink, 0.5mm tip

  • Dimensions: L 152mm x D 14mm

  • Weight: 21g

Why These Make Perfect Gifts

Whether you’re filling a birthday bag, rewarding a job well done, or just surprising a child with something fun, these items are the kind of gifts kids will actually use (and love). They’re colorful, playful, and perfectly blend imagination with practicality.

And honestly? Even as an adult, I love having these little pops of creativity at my desk. They make writing feel like less of a chore, and more of a treat.

  11. Ok, these are the cutest things I've seen all day. I'd use the little watermelon pen daily, and I bet my daughter would be giddy for the cactus. She's really into plants these days, so that may just have to be a little stocking stuffer for her this year.
