There's a lot of anticipation for the new Barbie moving coming out in July and an uptick of people loving pink. I've ALWAYS loved pink, and while I may or may not see the Barbie movie (I do like Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling), I do love all the pink pen and stationery available at Pen Heaven.
As a teacher, I get a new pen from Pen Heaven before the start of each school year. Why? Because it lasts me all year. Probably my favorite was the Fisher Space Pen, not because it was pretty but because it was so incredibly versatile. It wrote upside down, sideways, under water (not kidding, though I didn't test to see if it was true), etc. It had a pressurized ink cartridge designed to work in extreme conditions. At that time, I taught middle school and it doesn't get more exteme than that... 👀😆😆
Okay, let me stop. I did teach middle school for a few years, and except for one year (that I would rather forget), I loved it. Absolutely loved it. And I really had a lot of respect for my students. It was wonderful to watch them grow academically and as people. Now as a high school teacher, I get to see a lot of those students again and it always makes me happy.
BUT, high school is way more relaxed, and a lot easier in many ways, so now I can focus on pretty (and functional) rather than just functional. So, this year for my back-to-school pen I chose the Parker Jotter Original Pink Ballpoint Pen. I have no doubt it will get me through the new school year, and it's become a tradition for me to get my new pen from Pen Heaven, even though my old ones still work fine (and they do). It's the little things, right? 💗
This one though, is my favorite, and yes, it's superficially because it's pink. I can't help it. I love pink. And I love things that are pretty. So this pen tickles me pink. 😁 The thing is, everyone who has seen it so far, has mentioned Barbie, lol.
So, if you know a Barbie lover, a pink lover, or someone who would appreciate a pretty, new pen, this is the way to go.

ReplyDeleteI am all about all things pink. That pen is beautiful! Idk if I'll see the new Barbie movie or not, but it does look like a cheesy girl's night in flick. Allison and I may have to settle in with some snacks when it's available and indulge in some mindless fun for a bit.
ReplyDeleteI love a good pen! And the pink color! Such a fun little way to add a pop to your day.
