Wordless Wednesday: Just Horsing Around

 


Not gonna lie, the first time I saw a horse lying down in the grass 
I circled the car back around to do a double take.
Looks like I'm not the only one. 😅

  2. Ahaha. That is awesome. A lot of people think that horses suffocate under their own weight if they lay down, but it's not true.

    1. Yes, the first time I saw a horse rolling around on the grass like dogs do, I literally drove back to make sure I was seeing right. The horse was clearly happy so I just drove on my merry way, knowing from that moment forward that horses indeed, do lie down, hahahaha

    1. Yes, they're so big!! I saw a moose plowing through a ton of snow on Instagram yesterday. He was flying too. That one made me do a double take too.

  19. Many people don't know this, but all animals lay down for a little while. If they won't get back up is the problem.

  22. This did make me chuckle. We see horses sit down or sometimes even lie down as we live close to the farm but I am sure a lot of people don't realise that. Bless

    Till many years I also thought versus lie down only after they die. Some firsthand experience at stables fixed that idea for me!
