Which 2023 Calendar Would You Choose?

As a blogger, I am fortunate to work with many brands. To all of them, I say a big thank you. I appreciate each and every one of you. There are some brands, however, that I have come to love so much they have become a part of my every day life. Workman Publishing is one of those brands.

Some of you know I have a huge fondness for travel, and in particular there are so many places in Italy that I still want to see. As I inch closer to meeting my goal of being able to travel abroad once again, I take joy in seeing my 365 Days in Italy Calendar on the wall, every single day, every single year.

Each year Workman publishes this oversized wall calendar, with a gorgeous photo of a destination in Italy: one for each day of every month. It reiterates to me, the beauty of Italy, and inspires me to reach my traveling goals. You may know the author of this calendar, Patricia Schulz. She also wrote (among others), the New York Times Best Seller book, 1,000 Places to See Before You Die.

This is my favorite calendar of all-time, period and I can't imagine starting a new year without it.

If you are looking to start the new year off with a physical calendar, all types and sizes of calendars are sold by Workman Publishing (including many that are destination or travel-related).

This one will go to my son-in-law. He's a smart kid who gets a kick out of this kind of thing, so I think he will enjoy it. 365 Stupidest Things Ever Said has some people on the cover that I recognize instantly. If he opens this calendar box while he's here, I'm going to sneak a peek to see what's inside too. :)

For my sister-in-law, I got two, one for her house and one for her desk at work. This Audobon Arctic 2023 Wall Calendar is for her home.

While she isn't necessarily a fan of the cold, I know she will love these photos of the Arctic wildlife. We have actually taken quite a few trips over the last three decades, and some entailed encounters with unusual or exotic animals. While neither of us has been brave enough to suffer the Arctic cold, we do both appreciate its beauty, some of which is depicted perfectly in this calendar's pictures of the wildlife that lives there. What a wonder (ableit a chilly one) it must be to see them in person!

Every year, I also get her the 365 Bible Verses for a Year calendar and she puts it on her desk at work. She enjoys being able to see a scripture at her workstation, and it's encourages her to settle into a peaceful mindset each day. When you love God and His word, it's a comfort to have it close by. She's a gem of a sister-in-law and I like to make her happy. This calendar makes her happy. 😊

And last, but certainly not least, this Page a Day Gallery Cat Calendar will be a gift for my daughter-in-law. She has a big love for our fellow felines (as does her daughter, my granddaughter), so I know they will both enjoy seeing a beautiful cat each and every day of the new year. In fact, my grandbabe is in for quite a treat when she comes to visit because 95% of her holiday gifts this year have a cat on them or are related to cats (per her request to Santa Clause). 😉🎅

  6. So, I usually buy myself a Thomas Kinkade calendar every year, but I really like the travel calendars, for obvious reasons, and the kitty calendar because who knew I'd grow a love of cats this last year LOL.
