I got a text from someone telling me this bird was in their driveway!!
This is the real photo, I just put it on a purple background.
That's crazy cool to get to see it so up close and personal.
Unfortunately, that also meant something was wrong with it.
They called the proper authorities about it, but someone with a leaf blower blew at it and it hobbled
away. No one found it after that... I hate when people are mean to animals.
What a shame that someone had to mess with this beautiful bird. So sad.ReplyDelete
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday and rest of the week, my friend. ♥
Some people are just crappy. Thankfully more people are kind than aren't. Fabulous Wednesday to you!Delete
That is terrible. Poor thing needed care.ReplyDelete
Agreed and agreed. My heart never understands callous behavior like that...Delete
I share that hate. And hope that the hawk could recover.ReplyDelete
I hope the hawk recovered too. Sure a beautiful bird.Delete
Ugh. People are the worst. Why do they have to be like that to animals? I hate it.ReplyDelete
Yay, same. I never understood that kind of behavior.Delete
Aw, poor thing. I never get when people are cruel towards animals.ReplyDelete
Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.ReplyDelete
Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ♥
Amazing how some people behave, I liked the photo good captureReplyDelete
Have a wingtastic week Rosey 👍
Such a handsome bird!ReplyDelete
This is so sad, I hope the bird is okay. Thanks for trying to seek help.ReplyDelete
Wow what a gorgeous photo. Birds are such interesting creatures.ReplyDelete
Hawks are amazing birds. They really can become friendly, when they feel that people treat them with respect. They feel kind, caring souls.ReplyDelete
That is too bad that someone didn't make sure it got the care it needed. I have reached out to a wildlife rehab place many times.ReplyDelete
Ugh, why are people so mean to animals (and other humans) sometimes?! Hawks look intimidating but they are such pretty birds.ReplyDelete
Such a magnificent bird!ReplyDelete
Have a wonderful day, Rosey!
I always hate people who harm animals. I hope more people would learn how to take care of animals.ReplyDelete
I’m a animal lover and it always make me upset when I know someone who hurt animals. I hope the bird is okayReplyDelete
I hate it when people treat animal this way. I hope the hawk is well now.ReplyDelete
Oh no :( I wish more people would learn to take care of animals, not harm them.ReplyDelete
Whyy you don't keep it with the same background? That is a golden picture if it's this close.ReplyDelete
It's such an incredible creature, it's sad to know that it got away before getting to check if there's a problem with the bird! I hope there will be another chance!ReplyDelete
At first I thought it was a taxidermized hawk until I read the post (phew)!! Poor baby, what a jerk neighbor!ReplyDelete
It makes me upset when someone who hurts animals I love animal.ReplyDelete
I love the intensity in the hawk's eye. It's just sad that it was treated badly by your neighbor. I hope it's alright.ReplyDelete
I really really hope the hawk recovers! He is gorgeous...ReplyDelete
That makes me so sad how some just disregard our natural habitat. Incredible bird though...I hope they were ok.ReplyDelete
That bird is beautiful! I'm sorry that some horrible person chased it away before it could get the help it needed. People are aweful sometimes.ReplyDelete
Aaawwww...that is a very beautiful bird, I must say. I had never looked at it up-close like that.ReplyDelete
That is such a beautiful bird. It's shocking how some people can be so cruel to animals.ReplyDelete
Hahaha my mom used to use that phrase all the time!ReplyDelete
It's such a shame when people are mean to animals. I sure hope it is able to survive and will have a happy beautiful life.ReplyDelete
Bummer that someone was heartless and blew him away without getting him to a rehab center. Hopefully, you find it in the next few days.ReplyDelete
I hate it too. I teach my kids to be kind with anyone and especially with animals!ReplyDelete
That is such a beautiful bird. I hope it is ok.ReplyDelete
This is so cool, I would love to see that bird in real life! It's a shame it was hurt though.ReplyDelete
That's such a mean thing to do to a bird, especially one that is injured. Hope it was okay xReplyDelete
How rude that someone did that! A wildlife center certainly could have helped it out. So sad about how some people are!
I hate it too when people are so cruel with animals. I hope the bird is doing fine now.ReplyDelete
I agree, why are people so horrible, the bird probably needed some care and it would have got it if that man did not blow the bird awayReplyDelete
That's really unfortunate that it couldn't be found and treated.ReplyDelete
This is horrible! Why hurt someone harmless and cute. I am glad there are so many laws against animal cruelityReplyDelete
That's such a beautiful bird! I love it! Sad to know that it blown away.ReplyDelete
What a jerk. It must have been scared getting blown at with a leaf blower, especially if it were hurt! I think they are amazing birds, but I do worry about one of them scooping up my wiener dog while he's out going potty.ReplyDelete
