God's Not Dead: We the People. 3 Days Only!

Disclosure: Many thanks to Pinnacle Peak for providing this product/information for review. Opinions are 100% my own and not influenced by compensation.

The next installment in the God's Not Dead movie series will be released in theaters October 4th and will be running for THREE DAYS ONLY! Featuring Christian singer Francesca Battistelli, who plays a mom fighting for the right to continue educating her children at home, it is a must-see for anyone, but will strike a particular chord with those who homeschool or are considering becoming a part of the homeschooling community.
We always enjoy these movies when they come out, and will be in the theaters October 4th, 5th or 6th to see this one. We are looking forward to 'meeting' the new characters. Several members of the God's Not Dead cast are back in this film as well including David A.R. White as Reverend Dave Hill (I think he does such a good job in this role!), Paul Kwo as Martin Yip, and Hadeel Sittu as Ayisha Moradi.

The God's Not Dead franchise continues in God's Not Dead: We the People as Reverend Dave (White) is called to defend a group of Christian homeschooling families. He finds himself taken aback by the inferences of the government and believing that their right to educate their own children is a freedom worth fighting for, Reverend Dave is called to Washington DC to testify in a landmark congressional hearing that will determine the religious freedom in our country for years to come.

This is going to be a nice treat for us since we rarely do anything outside of sports (which we love) on work/school days. My teen is going to enjoy a weekday movie, for sure, and I hope you will too!

  5. With the pandemic, I've seriously thought long and hard about homeschooling my child with preschool. So, this might be interesting to watch.

  7. Interesting! Very timely for sure as many parents want to home school and continue doing so with the recent resurgence of cases again during the pandemic. If a child passes all standardized state testing I do not see why they can't be homeschooled. It is especially beneficial for students who are autistic (I would know I taught Special Ed myself and while I was very understanding of all my students needs I know not all children encounter such compassion in their school environments, particularly public school).

  11. I'm not a religious person but I do believe that we have to draw positivity as much as we can from all the available sources around us these days.

  13. If my girls were younger, in this current climate, I probably would have looked more into homeschooling. With Allison about to graduate though, I think we can hold out for one more year. I think the film sounds positive and uplifting, something we've been lacking on the screen for quite some time.

  15. I remember watching the first film years ago and it was really uplifting and it will surely bring you faith back in cased you feel lukewarm.. I remember that debate between the student and his prof where he tries to prove God's existence.. So nice to see that it became a film series.. Hopefully we can see thisnon digital platforms too
