It is most people’s preference to keep their skin healthy all year round. However, that is not always an easy feat. For those that lack skincare knowledge and do not understand the science behind products, then you might be using way more products than you need to. Or, you might not be using the right products for your skin.

You can achieve your desired skin with a minimal beauty routine. You just have to know a few simple tips and tricks.

To minimize your beauty routine at home, it can help to have beauty treatments done by a professional. These often offer long-lasting results, which means you can do less to your skin until the next treatment.

For instance, you might often spend hours using a gua sha tool to achieve a more defined jawline. However, you can use jaw injections to remove excess fat and achieve your desired chin. Cleanse thoroughly

Cleansing your skin is a must to remove excess dirt, bacteria, and oils from your skin, which could lead to breakouts and other skin issues. When you cleanse, you need to do a thorough job so that every bit of dirt is removed. If you leave some behind, then you could end up with spots, which you might then spend hours trying to get rid of.

If you do a good job at cleansing, then you can avoid any skin issues. Thus, you can use fewer products and less time trying to perfect your skin.

Drink plenty of water

What you feed your body will affect your skin. It is common to experience skin issues when you drink too much alcohol or consume fatty or sugary foods. Thus, eat your body well to optimize the health of your skin.

A number one tip is to drink plenty of water. Your skin needs to be hydrated as much as your body. After all, your skin is your largest organ. Look after your skin and optimize its healthy by drinking at least 8 glasses per day. This will help you achieve healthier skin and need fewer products.

Use a silk pillowcase

A silk pillowcase is not only super comfortable but is also a great way to treat your skin. Rough materials can cause dryness and irritation. Whereas silk will be soft on the skin and ensure that no dryness or breakouts occur as a result of what you are sleeping on.

Make sure to wash your pillowcases as often as possible (even more than your sheets) to avoid any dirt from the previous day going on your face. Cleanse thoroughly before bed and washing your pillowcases twice a week should be plenty to avoid breakouts by picking up bacteria.
