5 Reasons You Should Go to Urban Air Adventure Park

Do you wait all week long for the weekend to get here and then sit around the house doing nothing fun at all? You don't have to wait for a vacation to get out there and have a blast. Go get your fun on right now! One of our stops this weekend was Urban Air Adventure Park in Wellington, Florida. There are franchises of this indoor adventure park all over the country. Have you been there? Whether the answer is 'yes' or 'no' here are 5 reasons you should go (or go back!):

1. It is out of the ordinary. Where else can you go and safely climb up high, coast around a bit while you're up there, and yet stay cool and dry when you do so, no matter the time of the year (we're in south Florida where it is almost always hot, rainy or both)? Urban Air has so many attractions to visit, including a ropes course and a Sky Rider Coaster, akin to a zipline, that kids and adults alike will love. They also have a virtual reality experience, climbing walls, Dodge Ball, a flip zone, trampoline floors in every area of the park, an obstacle course and so much more! You can literally spend all day here and not run out of things to do.

2. It is fun for all ages. There are a couple of areas designated for the wee littles, and then fun for people of any age in the other sections. We went with adults of various ages as well as a 1-year-old and a 14-year-old and everyone had a fantastic time. Whether it's sitting down on the various benches to enjoy watching the kids giggle and tee-hee while they jump around, or you participating yourself, I can't image anyone not having a good time while they are here. The photo above shows part of one of the obstacle courses. Half of the fun here was falling because you ended up in a sea of white. The kids giggled more when they fell then they did on the course, because it's an experience to drop into a pool of plastic balls, and believe me, they were giggling on the course too. No adults fell at all (ha ha ha ha, just kidding).

3. It's so much fun (and you can throw a party!). You deserve to get out and enjoy yourself and so do the kids. This is a great place to go to break up the monotony of a comfortable weekend at home. It's also a wonderful place to have a birthday party (or any kind of party) in one of the rooms that they have set up specifically for this purpose. The rooms come with open access and a view to the action so kids can come and go as needed during the scheduled party times. There are tables to put gifts, food, cake, etc., and the balloon decorations are so incredibly nice, sure to make your loved one feel very special. Urban Air has earned multiple awards for being the best place to throw a birthday party for kids, and that is with good reason.

Taking a break. We stopped to fuel up a few times. This trip was a drink and a soft pretzel, later in the day we had a full lunch, and throughout the day we stopped by the cafe to get water and Powerades (essential when you are playing so hard). The lines were never long for any attraction, or to get to the ordering counter at the cafe.

#4. Location! Urban Air Adventure Park is a franchise, so finding one close to you is entirely possible!! The closest one to us is in Wellington, Florida. I have been to Palm Beach many times, and lived there for a lot of years, but as far as Wellington goes, I hadn't really seen how much growth it's had in the last couple of decades until this past weekend when we went to Urban Air. It has literally just blossomed so much since I last visited. It's really pretty and quite a different city than I remember.

The franchises offer different options for visiting, and will give you a wrist band to designate the times you are allowed to be on the floor. They also have an Endless Play membership, with a low monthly payment option that allows you to stay all day! Whether you are coming for the day or opting in for a membership, please remember that you have to call ahead to reserve your times (see website to learn more).

#5. You get a killer workout! This place is a total blast! And if you thought getting your workout on couldn't be fun, let me tell you that is certainly not true. Jumping around on these trampoline floors will wear a girl (or guy) out! One of my granddaughter's was with us, and at the end, she sat right in the middle of a trampoline square and yawned...five times. Even when two little girls came over to ooh and ahh over her and try to get her to jump, she just sat there looking at them, yawning. And then she fell asleep on grandmama (hello, best day ever).  The rest of the crew went back to working out while having fun (fun being our sole intent of going but the awesome workout being a huge benefit) and they really worked up a healthy sweat! I think if you like to workout, but you hate to go to the gym, or just want a break from it, you could just head in here with (or without) the kids and jump. Not even kidding. Everyone will enjoy their time at Urban Air and you'll get a workout just as good as you would at any other place (or home). No more carving workout time into the weekend because you want to spend all the time you can with the kids. Here...you have the best of both worlds.

These are just 5 reasons to visit Urban Air Adventure Park as soon as you can, but honestly I can think of so many more! Head on over and enjoy yourself. You really have nothing to lose, except for maybe your spot on the battle beam (and honestly, that's fun too).

In Palm Beach? Urban Air Adventure Park in Wellington, Florida is the place to be. Outside of Palm Beach? Just search online to find one that might be near you. Happy adventuring everyone!

  26. I don't think we have one near us, but we do have something similar but it is an outdoor air adventure quest. I haven't been to it yet because it seems a little pricey, but Jason and I talked about doing it for a special occasion, like an anniversary.
