Giveaway: Choose One Toy to Call Your Own!

Christmas is over, Easter is over, and now we find ourselves a little more than 1/3 into the new year. How fast did that go by?? This year is speeding by so quickly to me. In any case, it's been awhile since the kiddos got any new gifts from grandmama (that would be me), so I decided to up the ante a little and bring out presents in April! Ha! Such a fantastic concept and I'm glad I thought of it, because no one buys presents in April, unless it's a birthday month, which it is not.

For me, a bottle of perfume!! Just kidding. :)  Some of you know that's my new favorite thing, but I didn't buy any new fragrances, lol. I just said that in case my kids are reading to get a laugh.

I did however, get these sweet tossing rings (we love Disney!) for my newest grandbabe, a Smarty Flutter for my third-oldest grandbabe, a Creatto set for my oldest granddaughter and Playmobil building kits for all around!! Most littles (and even the bigger kids) love those building kits and for good reason.

1). The Green Toys Disney Baby Exclusive Mickey Mouse Stacker is made from 100% recycled plastic. It has no BPA, phthalates, or PVC. It is dishwasher safe with no external paints or coatings. This toy was carefully crafted with no interlocking pieces to pinch baby fingers, and no center piece to make the stacking easy for the smallest of littles. I also love that it's made with the bright colors children love. This would be cute in any baby room or play area. Of course, having Mickey as the topper only adds to the appeal. Mickey Mouse is a universal love (you can a pink/purple Minnie as well). Interested? You can purchase this on Amazon for a great price (and right now it's on sale for an even great price). Green Toys have been around for awhile now, their toys are all made in the USA.

2). The Creatto sets are so original and unique. I've truly never seen anything like them in the realm of toys. These kits are puzzles that you put together and when finished, they light up.

This is the elephant kit and the pieces that are included to assemble it. As you can see, it is not that hard to make the items, but they are recommended for ages 6+ due to some of the smaller parts and the ability to understand cause and effect.

There are several models to choose from and my favorite is the elephant, though they're all pretty cute, including the lantern. I can imagine a few of those around the room lighting things up, which would delight any one of my granddaughters. Check out the website or Amazon to learn more about these very affordable kits (under $10).

3). The Smarty Flutter is a  fun toy for the younger child in your life. It is an interactive toy that teaches colors (it magically names colors it lands on), shapes, numbers, directions, and emotional intelligence. The kids will like it even if it's not running, but they'll like it even more when it is (and you will too, this toy is irresistibly cute). It has over 150 activities and reactions programmed into it, meaning your kids won't get bored with it quickly. Another huge plus.

This would make an excellent gift idea for most any toddler/preschooler. It is recommended for ages 3-5. I love the unique aspect to it, the bright cheerful appearance of the toy, and the technology that makes it so very fun and interesting.

Playmobil!

For the older kids, Playmobil is always a good idea! My oldest granddaughter is always so pleased to open a new kit and start building. Some of you might remember me talking about her building her Playmobil Volkswagen T1 Camping Bus. Everyone who sees that kit thinks it is absolutely adorable. These new kits are great too, and they take building to a whole new level.

4). The Stunt Show Bull Monster Kit is intimidating with its big bull horns so front and center. It is certainly fantastic for evoking imaginative play. In addition to spring-mounted tires, a fold-down rear flap, removable roof and room for four figures (one of which is included) this is a toy that will be memorable for the kids to build and enjoy. This set has 57 pieces and is recommended for children ages 4+

5). The Playmobil Stunt Show Crash Car can be used as a stunt car or a race car, depending on what pieces you use to put it together at the time. It includes two figures, one of which is a test dummy. What a fun way to entertain the kiddos during the weekend. Don't they deserve a quality break from school? What a crazy year it's been!! With Covid-19, hybrid learning, online learning, or face-to-face learning with online elements (just in case students had to switch to online school at any time) it's been interesting to say the least. Having some down time to just pretend and play is such a welcome release. There are 60 pieces in this kit, and it is also for ages 4+

6). The Stunt Show Service Tent is a cool addition to any building kit.

In the Stunt Show Service Tent, motorcycles and trucks are maintained. In order to examine his two-wheeler in detail, the driver has jacked up his vehicle on the lifting platform. Now it is screwed, oiled and cleaned so that the motorcycle can soon be back on the race track. A welding machine is also available for larger repairs and there are two ramps for jacking up the monster trucks and racing cars. The set contains a PLAYMOBIL figure, a motorcycle, a service tent, drive-on ramps and many accessories for repairing and maintaining the vehicles.

Having this as an addition to any of the other building sets, or even on its own, would be a lot of fun for the littles. I love that this set has a motorcycle and a jack to put it on for when it needs a good tune up. All of the little parts included in this (and any Playmobil set) look so realistic. It's hard not to fall in love with Playmobil. The Stunt Show Service Tent has 49 pieces and is for ages 4+.

  7. My favorite toy from the blog post is probably the Playmobil Stunt Show Crash Car. I like that you can make it a stunt car or a race car, depending on how you put it together. The Disney Green Toys sound great since they're made from recycled plastic. It's awful how much plastic and electronic waste is put in the environment because of toys. Also, glitter, Styrofoam, and the like, so it's great that Disney created their green line using recycled plastic.

  13. Grandmas do not need a holiday to spoil the kiddies with new toys. My mil taught me that it’s her right to gift new things when the mood struck her and there were plenty of April’s that my girls got gifts just because LOL. Light up puzzles would have been the first on her list. She would have bought them all so she could piece them together with the kids on their weekly Sunday visits.

Thanks for the add, too! You’re the best!
