I guess this is our last shipment from Brooklyn Cloth kids because my son is growing like a weed and is about to be in men's sizes now, which is something he has already done for his shoes! That's okay, they have a men's line...we will just have to wait for a little bit of growth for him to get into it. He's at that between stage where he's outgrowing the biggest size for boys but can't quite yet fit in the smallest size for men.
This Boys Hustle Color Blocked Hoodie looks like it is a good fit, and it is, if he doesn't lift his arms. ;) If he lifts them, his wrists show (see above) and if he stands upright and lifts higher, his tummy shows too. That means he'll wear this once or twice before he completely outgrows it, and then we will donate it to the homeless shelter where we take many food and other items that will be helpful, including clothing for the children that is new or almost new. It will be well received. And while I am on that topic, let me just say, if you donate time, money or items, area homeless shelters are always a good place to do so because the people there, often have absolutely nothing.
We love Brooklyn Cloth. You can see in this picture that the hoodie is a bit roomy, which is just the way a sweatshirt should fit (you can get a size bigger if you like it really loose, and a size smaller if you like it more form-fitting). It is a handsome sweatshirt, with neutral color blocking that matches most any outfit. It also has a pocket in the front that you can access with both hands to keep them warm on chilly days. What is amazing to me, is that in half a foot or so, he will be as tall as I am, already!
We have several pieces in the closet that belong to Brooklyn Cloth, and this long-sleeve one from a different year is still one of his very favorites.
The words right down the arm say "Brooklyn" as does the writing on the back and in a small spot on his upper, left chest. We have had this shirt forever and a day, and I love it. It's neutral enough to go with anything, and it's a lightweight, long-sleeve shirt that folds up nice and small, making it easy to carry along for when my child might need extra warmth. I appreciate the quality of this shirt, and of all the clothing we have ever gotten from Brooklyn Cloth, and am happy to share their brand with you.
