Brick Loot Makes THE Quintessential Gift Idea for Kids!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

It doesn't seem like much, but when this box is delivered to our door, my son always wears a HUGE smile. In fact, it's still the one delivery we get that has him chomping at the bit to get open and explore. He likes to see what building kit he's going to get to put together, and then of course he sits right down and gets to work (if you can call it 'work'). This kind of gift subscription is a wonderful idea for a child who likes to put together things, craft, or play with building bricks/Legos.

Every box has a theme. This one was 'Food Cart Frenzy.' It came with a pamphlet that detailed what was included: a Sushi Cart, an ice cream cart, street and other signs, a box with mystery figurines, an iron-on patch, and a bicycle with a girl figurine to ride it (so cute).

The Sushi Cart had quite a few pieces to put together, 165 of them, in fact, and those are always a hit with my son who likes to build. I mean he really, really enjoys it, and he's good at it too. Some of his creations leave me in awe because he gets so detailed, but as a collector too, he likes to have themes and kits to build for his book shelves (to put on display).

The ice cream cart had 47-pieces and was a breeze to put together. The little details like the cash register and actual cone on it for a display were thoughtful and cute.

A kit with street and other signs was included so you could determine the direction people in your little Food Cart Frenzy world could go. Of course you could rearrange them as you saw fit because they all assembled and disassembled very quickly and easily.

This one delivered hugely, with three figures (four if you include the bicycle girl below) and he was absolutely delighted. Figurines are his fave.

An iron-on patch we can all relate to was included in the box. I cannot count the number of times I have skipped on an expensive drink at a coffee shop, and gotten just the plain coffee instead (which makes me perfectly happy and content). In fact, I went to pick up a gift card awhile ago and got a coffee for me right along with it. That is on the little table by my side right now, making me feel all warm and fuzzy with its cheery holiday design on the cup; and I paid a dollar and change for it. Reasonable to be sure. Who can relate to a $37 cup of coffee? Not me, but I've seen it (well, not quite so high, but you get it). LOL

This little plastic bag here holds the contents of a bicycle. You would think this would be no big deal really, it seems to fit right in with the theme, but my son flipped over this little bike (figuratively speaking, of course).

This is what it looked like after assembly and with the little figurine riding on it. Cute, yes? I love that it's gold, and my son did too. He also appreciated the extra details like the lights on the front and back.

Brick Loot is unique in that it is a reasonably-priced subscription service you can have delivered (-month, 3-months, 6-months or a year), but in addition to that, it also has an extensive list of items (including retired Legos), kits, etc. that you can purchase outright. I highly recommend this kit for quality and interest. It is something my son has loved since early elementary school, and he is in middle school now. Learn more by visiting the Brick Loot website.

BRICK LOOT MAKES A GREAT GIFT IDEA!

If you have a child on your shopping list this year for the holiday season, this is a gift they will look forward to receiving in the mail each and every time the little white box with blue BRICK LOOT letters arrives. I highly recommend it, and have been using the service for years.

  4. Such a fun idea for the kids. I really love that sushi cart. Reminds me of the time Allison claimed she "loved" sushi, so we bought her some at the airport. Turns out, she loved the idea of sushi, just not eating it LOL.
