Tony Evans Study Bible Giveaway

This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

The holiday season is about more than just shopping, baked goodies, delicious meals and time with family and friends. Although all of those things are lovely, wonderful and nice, the reason for the season in our house, is that we are celebrating and grateful that Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, was born to save us from our sins. What a tremendous gift He gave, that no amount of commercialization can take away. As such, when gifting to family and friends who are believers, I try to find something that will help them on their spiritual journey; something I know they will appreciate and enjoy. This luxurious Tony Evans Study Bible, Christian Standard Version, is an absolutely wonderful gift idea!

The gold siding and supple, soft cover give it an elegant look and feel. I like that there is double stitching on the corners, with a reinforced patch because mine always tend to curl up in those places and instantly look worn. Not that I mind, but it's nicer if they look clean and pristine.

Because it is a study Bible, there are notes aplenty on the inside, which were taken from the sermons and writings of Tony Evans and carefully placed alongside the scripture to help you see the Word in a whole new way. The notes are clearly distinguished from the Bible, so you do not mix up the two.

Along with a concordance, notes, inspirational articles, and a Bible reading plan, you will also find full color maps to help show you were events and happenings took place. I remember pouring over the maps in my mother's Bible when I was a kid. Now that I realize the history of those places those maps mean even more to me.

There is a hard back, open-front box to slide the book into for protection. This is very helpful for when you are not using it. I know my Bible is on the living room coffee table and I worry about things getting spilled on it or what have you, all of the time. With this, I could slide it into the protective cover and place it on the shelf. It's hard to put a soft Bible on the bookshelf unless it is a hard cover because it won't stand up! This solves that challenge. For those who are curious about the size, it is a traditional, full size measuring 7.21" x 9.72" It surely makes a thoughtful gift idea for those who like Tony Evans, and who love to study the word.

  6. It looks like a great bible. I currently have the Max Lucado NCV bible and it has served me well. It is starting to fall apart but what I would really like is a the dramatised bible app. I have the CDs from the Bible Experience but I no longer have a CD player.
