Learning Potential Galore with Giveaway

Disclosure: This post is sponsored. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

This time of year, most students have gone back to school or will be going in the next couple of weeks at the latest. Switching from the relaxed state of summer to the regimented state of school can be challenging, but if you transition with learning toys it can be easier. Also, I wanted to mention there is a giveaway with this post. It's fun when you get to pick your prize, don't you think? And one lucky winner is going to get to choose one of the above learning 'toys' to call their own. Let's talk about what they are, and then you can decide.

For preschoolers, there is the Hot Dots Jr. with Pete the Cat. Pete was one of my son's favorites when he was a little guy, and we still the books, one of the CDs and the stuffed animal (hey, we were big Pete fans). This little learning kits contains over 200 interactive lessons to help kids learn, and it comes in a convenient case with a carrying handle, so little ones can take it on the go. It is recommended for ages 3-5. This is from Educational Insights, and they always have high quality, amazing items for kids.

Educational Insights + Highlights’ Hot Dots Jr.
Winner of the Parents' Choice Approved Award, National Parenting Center Seal of Approval, and NAPPA Silver Award, Hot Dots Jr., featuring Pete the Cat, from Highlights and Educational Insights helps make learning a little groovier with new interactive learning sets! This set provides Preschool or Kindergartners with 200+ fun, interactive lessons in reading, math, science, social studies, and MORE. Press Pete to an answer dot—he offers affirmative sounds and green lights for correct responses & red lights and lively tones for incorrect responses, which helps develop critical early learning skills and encourages self-paced, independent learning.

The Snap Circuits Power! kit from Hand2Mind contains 19 electronic circuit experiments that you can use over and over again. This kind of kit is really fun for kids ages 3-12 (and I'd say even older) because it teaches them about electricity, and does it in a very hands-on way!

PRODUCT PERKS
  • 19 Experiments included
  • Work and learn through purposeful science-based play
  • Easy-to-use and can be done over and over!
ACTIVITIES
  • Creating a closed circuit and make Sparky the Robot light up
  • Explore what materials conduct electricity
  • Learning how to communicate using Morse Code
  • Trace the history of electricity...and more!

Likewise, this Magnets Super Experiment Kit, also from Hand2Mind is loaded with fun ways to learn for the kids. It comes with 20 lab tools for 9 experiments and is recommended for children ages 3-12. Again, I would say you could go even older than that because quite honestly, I have never met a child of any age who could not resist a magnet. Even adults gravitate towards playing with them if they're around. This combines that love with learning, and is a perfect way to transition to back-to-school.

PRODUCT PERKS
  • 9 Experiments included
  • Work and learn through purposeful science-based play
  • Exploring scientific principles

ACTIVITIES
  • Floating magnets without touching them
  • Using magnetic levitation to move a train
  • Flipping the field on your own iron filings
  • Creating a compass ...and more!

The Design & Drill Space Circuits from Educational Insights is designed for the younger crowd (ages 5-8) but still allows children to understand the basic concepts of how circuits work. It's also very hands-on, as they will use the tool to connect the circuits, or design & drill, if you will. I can't imagine any child not being filled with joy as they see what happens when circuits connect, and realize they are the ones making them do so.

With Space Circuits, STEM-gineers use a kid-safe power drill and smaller bolts to complete awesome astronaut challenges like wiring circuits to spin fans and light lights, all the while building basic math and engineering skills, confidence, and creativity too.

All of these toys are great in terms of learning and engagement, and I can't imagine kids not loving each and every one of them.

There's a Giveaway!

One lucky winner will get to choose one to call their very own. US entrants only!
Good luck to all who enter.
