California Design Den: Affordable High Quality Sheets You Order Online

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Well this is the life! I recently got this picture sent to me of my darling little diva enjoying her daddy's new sheets from California Design Den. Everyone knows that the overall aesthetic of the room matters, but if the sheets aren't comfortable and durable, it's not really a win! I know my own daughter had a bed that I absolutely loved and thought she would delight in. It was a canopy bed with curtains and I really paid a small fortune for the bedroom set at the time. She was in Kindergarten. She HATED it. I kept thinking she'd get past it, but she never did, so I gave it away to a family whose little girl was ecstatic to get it. Years later, I found out she just thought the sheets were scratchy. 👀😖 Admittedly, that was a parent fail, I should have gotten to the bottom of her discomfort that confused me so much, but we all have some kind of huge fail in life that leaves us slapping our heads. That is one of mine. Had I known now, what I knew then, I'd have just swapped her sheet set for California Design Den!

We got the 400 thread count cotton sheets, and they were amazing. I can only imagine how great the 1000-thread count sheets would be!! Truly these sheets feel like a dream. They wash and wear well too, which is important for everyone, but definitely matters when you have kids in the house. My grown son (father of my beautiful grandbabe pictured at the start of this post) also has a new puppy. Oh my goodness, she's as cute as she can be, and she's way too small to get up on his bed, but I bet there will come a day... ;)  so we'll throw pets in the mix too. You want strong sheets when you have kids and pets, especially on the days the aforementioned are playing together and running all over the house, including getting up on the bed. Yes, I am speaking from experience since I used to do that with my grandma's Black Lab. I remember it years later, so surely it was fun at the time. Their pup is a German Shepard, so she's going to get huge, and I can definitely foresee this in their future. ;)

You can get the sheets in different thread counts, sizes, solid colors and/or prints. Because my son and his lovely Mrs. go with so many prints for their top colors, he opted for a solid color for his fitted and flat sheet, as well as one set of pillow cases. They have a ton of throw pillows in prints too...those pictured are only some that they have, others were neatly stacked on the floor next to the bed, so the solid choice made good sense to me.

After seeing these sheets in person, washing them (to see how they looked coming out of the dryer) and having the kids (his daughter and my youngest son) test them out (who better to give them a try, kids are brutally honest), I feel like I can recommend them and be glad to do so. Though this set went to my son and his family (his birthday just passed!), I now have my eye on a polka dot set for year-round and a gorgeous snowflake print for the holiday season for me (yeah, I'm one of those who shops for Christmas season year-round).

There are a lot of options on the California Design Den's website, and in addition to the sheets, they also sell duvet covers, comforters and more. Everything is also very affordable. It's nice to find a site I can trust when it comes to ordering sheets online. That matters a lot to me, because not all sheets are created alike (not even close). Learn more about these bed sheets by visiting the website and/or their Amazon Store. You can also follow along on Facebook, Instagram, and/or Pinterest.

  1. I completely agree that the comfort of the sheets really matters for the overall comfort in the bedroom. These sound like a great buy - it's good to know they wash well! I recently bought some and were so disappointed that I noticed pilling after the first wash.

  2. Yes, the comfort of the sheets matters a lot. Some sheets cannot stay good after one wash. The designs you shared are soothing too.

  3. I would LOVE my own canopy bed.

Sheets can make or break my sleep. I like the comfort of flannel, but they get so hot! Cheap sheets always pop off the mattress and feel gross. I'll have to check this brand out. Thanks for sharing!

  5. I'm a skeptic when it comes to shopping online for bedsheets and comforters because pictures can be so deceiving. Lucky for you, you found a good site to buy good bedsheets. I'll definitely check them out and I hope they have an option to deliver worldwide and that shipping fees are not so expensive. :)

  6. Yeah, need good sheets indeed. Those scratchy ones and ones made out of stuff that can poison you, aren't so fun.

  12. Sheets definitely matter. I always have to put my finger in the pack to feel them out before buying them. If I have crummy sheets, I just can't sleep well.

  14. We have to get some new sheets for our bed and our toddler bed. I hate scratchy sheets and will open up the packaging when shopping for sheets to make sure they don't feel scratchy. I also hate cold sheets. I'm always looking for flannel even for the summer.
