In fact, he got to wear my son's hat on top of his head, while they (the hat and the pig) rested on top of my son's head. Why? Well, because he's silly like that. The pig or the boy? I'll let you decide. ;)
Do you take your stuffies with you on the go? I know we are getting closer to that time where my son isn't going to want to bring his or play with them any longer, so I am soaking these last minutes up as thoroughly as I possibly can. My son does for now, still like to play with his stuffed animals. Last night he wasn't feeling so great, and he surrounded himself with all of his favorite stuffies, just before he fell asleep. On this day though, we were simply taking our new Moosh-Moosh toys to the water, so they could be properly introduced to their new Florida home. We didn't take the tags off though, because I've got gift plans for each and every one of these little cuties, except one. We had to keep one (my son wanted to keep them ALL, but he likes to share too). Guess which one we kept?
If you've seen me post about my son's obsession with piggies, you'd have guessed 'the pig' and you would have been correct-u-mondo. I don't know what it is with him and pigs but he just loves them. In fact, when I opened this box he may or may not have yelled out, "piggy!" in a jubilant greeting. This particular Moosh-Moosh is not Series 3 or Sequin (the two latest lines), but the rest of them are... and they're so adorbs.
First let's talk about how soft they are..there are a lot of squishables out on the market right now. They are very popular. None are as soft as Moosh-Moosh. Seriously, these are so squishable, squeezable super dee duper soft that you cannot help but fall instantly in love with them!! Itsy the Elephant is on the far-right. She's going to my granddaughter when she is born (I gave my daughter first dibs after my son took out his piggy). This super super super soft plush (I cannot stress how soft these are) is going to look great in my newest granddaughter's nursery!
My son is holding his favorite and mine in this picture above. Pinky the Pig on (your) left is his, as we discussed (who incidentally costs only $5.99) and Pandy the Panda with a sequin face on (your) right is my fave.
These plush softies have the type of sequins that you can move away from the grain and they turn another color. I love that, and they're on there nice and tight too, so your little one can move them back and forth as much as they'd like without worrying about them falling off. This one is going to my niece who just turned 4. I missed her birthday party because we had a previous commitment we couldn't get out of before it was planned, but I'm sure not going to miss going over to see her and give her this sweet little gift.
Piggy got the royal treatment. He even got to wear my son's hat.
Then my little man got a little too fancy, balancing on the edge (he can swim) and I decided we were taking this photo shoot to the benches. ;)
On the left you can see another sequin pet. That is Kandy Kat and she is going to my granddaughter who will be 6-years-old soon. Am I using my new camera I was so excited about? No. I'm still excited about the camera but when I shoot in RAW I can't view my photos or share them with you. I still have to figure that out (I'm a DSLR newbie). Just explaining the shadows. :)
You can see in Kandy's close-up that she is oh so precious, and she has that rub-against-the-grain sequin color thing going on too. Another factor (besides it being a cat, and pink!) that my grandbabe will adore.
On the bottom-right there is a Series 3 Moosh-Moosh called Lucy the Llamacorn.
Lucy is a beauty, but she is no longer with us. She has gone to a new forever home. A little girl was entirely too excited to see Lucy in the middle of our photo shoot, and she really wanted it for her own. We're super and very gratefully blessed with 'things' and always happy to share the wealth. We put Lucy back in her plastic bag and gave her to the little girl. The little girl gave us back the empty plastic bag (lolol). She was probably the happiest little girl we came across all day. She was very delightfully surprised and thrilled to have a new member in her family. When we left, we saw her swinging in the baby swing at the park, with the Moosh-Moosh tucked tightly and protectively under her arms. :)
To end the day, my son suggested he lie down on the Moosh-Moosh's as if they were pillows. Ahhhh... so super soft, and they bounce right back into shape, even after their moosh-moosh'd!
We love these toys and now they have some really adorable slippers too! Head on over to the website to learn more about them. I'm guessing once you get your hands on one, you'll understand why we love them. They are delightfully hard to resist!
You can find these online at the Moosh-Moosh website.
You can also find them in retail stores like Michael's, CVS, Joanne Fabrics and more.
Those are super cute! I think all three of my kids would love them. I might even have to have a couple for my bed.

ReplyDeleteMy daughter was devastated to leave the store a few weeks ago without one of these in her hands. Created a scene and all. I'll have to gift one of these to her for her birthday; she loved them!

ReplyDeleteThose are totes adorbs! I'm with your son on loving all things pigs, but I bet Allison would want the panda. If there were a wolf, she'd choose that one first, but I don't see that as an option, so we're going with panda for her.

ReplyDeleteThese Moosh-Moosh are cute, and the piggy is adorable with the cap on. When I was a kid, I had one stuffed animal that I took everywhere, even after it lost its stuffing, and wasn't more than a dirty rag with a head!
