When we moved into our place I opted for a cable package because it was such a good deal. Fast forward to the end of that sign-up period, and the bill went up atrociously. Now, we're looking to cut the cord to cable, and have been thinking of streaming our entertainment instead, with the Google Chromecast Streaming Media Player, available at Best Buy.
Chromecast works with all of the streaming apps you know and love as well. Watch your favorite TV shows, movies, videos, songs, games, sports and more from over 2,000 apps like Netflix, YouTube, YouTube TV, and HBO NOW.
There's an Additional Option to Stream by Voice
You can stream with just your voice too by simply saying what you want to watch from compatible apps. Control your TV hands-free, when Chromecast and Google Home work seamlessly together.
"Okay Google, play Stranger Things from Netflix on my living room TV."
Now that is seriously smart. :)
Google Home, Chromecast and compatible content required to cast to a TV using Google Home.
Upgrade Your TV for Less
Expand your home entertainment without buying a new TV. Chromecast is very affordable too, so you can get one for every TV in the house. It is compatible with your existing HDTV and easily connects to high-definition televisions with HDMI connectivity. It also has high speed connectivity with built-in 802.11ac Wi-Fi that connects to the internet through your wireless home network (wireless router required and sold separately).
I'm thinking this is the way to go. It's definitely going to help us save a bundle when we cut out that cable bill. I'm headed to Best Buy this week to pick up mine.
