Fun Day at the Beach! Deluxe Beach Bag from All American Toys

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

It is no secret that we love the beach, and if we have a long weekend, that's where we're going. My youngest, although he hates sand sticking to him (huge pet peeve of his) always has a blast when we go too. He's at that age still (11 yesterday!) where he makes his own fun, with or without toys. That is especially true when we are at the ocean, but if you do add toys to the mix, he's a happy camper!  I love these precious years, and I know they are fleeting! That's why when I saw the Beach Basket Set at American Plastic Toys, I knew it was coming home with us. In fact, it's so nice I'll be picking up another set for my granddaughter to have at her place too! She loves the beach, and her mom and dad are always lugging around a ton of toys when they go. Having a handy, vented basket (so it's easy to get the sand out) is going to make their lives so much easier, just like it did for mine.

Here he is, looking proud of his new basket. That's the look you get when a new toy is looking exciting (or in this case basket of toys), and he has yet to try them. Eager anticipation, I believe I would call it. :)  Have I mentioned that I love it that he still gets excited about toys? :)

This Beach Basket Set come with an array of toys, and a filter top. The filter top is fun for play in the sand, and it can be used to keep new things out of the basket, and to stack other baskets just like it on top. The basket itself has two plastic handles so it's easy to tote (for kids as well as adults because the contents of course, are not heavy at all). The wide waffle vents make clean up a breeze. We simply took ours and put it under the water faucet at the beach to clean it all out. It was sand free in a jiffy. We then left it sitting out in the sun while we rinsed off so the items could dry. If you take the items out to dry, then the process will be even faster.

As you can see from the sticker on the lid, there are 20 pieces to this set, lid and basket included.

Everything you could want for sand/water play is included. There are sand molds, buckets with sand castle edges, sea-creature-shaped shovels, a sifter lid, and of course there is a boat. What kind of water play would it be without a boat?!

There was a birthday party at the beach when we were there as well. I mean it was right on the beach so the little kids could play. One of the grannies came over and was admiring this set as well. She said it would be perfect for days like the one they were having, with so many tinies on the beach at once. I told her where she could get a set (major retail stores including Dollar General, Walmart, etc.; and online at Amazon, etc.) and she was thrilled.

I did notice that the more and more interested the lady became in my son's toys, that the faster he packed them up and moved to a more 'shaded' part of the beach, that had no little ones around. Hahahahhahahahaha. I think he thought I was going to give this away. We are so blessed that sometimes I do share our things with others. He's okay with that, and often does the same. This Deluxe Beach Bag from American Plastic Toys though? I'll let you make your own inferences on whether or not we gave it away, based on the photo above. 🤣

  1. I wish we had had this when our kids were young. We lugged our beach toys. But, there is always the chance of taking our gr-kids.

  3. I remember having beach baskets like this as a kid, and then with my own kids. It really makes a lot of sense to use something like this so the sand just sifts out, and water doesn't damage it.

  7. That is a blast from the past. We had a white plastic beach bag that my mother used to put the beach blanket and other picnic essentials in when we had beach outings. I don't think it came with such a cool set of toys although I do remember buckets.

  8. Who doesn't love the beach? I know I'd be there nearly every day if I could. What a neat idea for the beach too. I think all I had was a bucket when I was younger. lol.

  14. Going to the beach is always tons of fun, but sitting there in the sun can get dull after the first hour or two. A selection of great beach toys will be handy to ensure a productive and fun day.

  16. Hey, it's okay to keep some things just for yourself! I know I do it here and there, though I tend to give a lot of my stuff away too.

The toys look like they provide a full day of fun at the beach!
