I always take the back-to-school pictures in the morning when his hair's wet. You'd think by now I'd learn to wait until he got home from school that first day, but I'm always scared I'll forget! In any case, my son is now in his very last year of elementary school, and we now have the picture to commemorate it. We also have all new things for school, like his clothes, backpack, supplies, lunchbox, sandwich box and water bottle. The last two items came from Zak, an all-time fave of ours for durability/quality.
Whether it's Jurassic Park you like, emojis, or something else (there are options by the boat load), you're bound to find it with Zak. I took two of these water bottles to school, to put in my quarterly prize buckets. I'm happy to have done so because I want my students to stay hydrated, and the anticipation of those prizes is helping to seamlessly mold expectations in my classroom, right from the get-go (those tables that remember to follow expectations the most get to choose their prize baskets first). I have to say, it's been such a wonderful start, and I'm loving my good fortune this year, more than I can even express. These water bottles are going to be a big hit because a). I only allow water in my classroom and not everyone remembers to bring a bottle b). They're cute/fun!! c). They have no-spill spouts which gets a lot of cheering from me! d). They are generous in size, so you don't have to keep filling them up.
I love that they are so cool looking too. Seriously! That emoji bottle is my favorite. I was so, so tempted to keep that one for myself. I'm all about sharing though, and I already have a Zak water bottle, so...to the classroom it went. Now let's talk about the matching sandwich boxes!!

I opened the case for you to see the inside. It's truly a the perfect size for a sandwich. Of course, you can put anything you want inside of it, we're just big on sandwiches here. They're easy, fast and don't need refrigerated (most days we're doing PB&J)! Prior to getting this reusable sandwich box, we were using plastic sandwich bags. This is such an affordable, practical way to eliminate that extra waste that came from those, and the box is going to protect his lunch better anyway (remember, I said he is very 'busy.'). :)
