Virtuoso Bears: A Symphony for Baby!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated, however, are genuine and my own.

Meet Ludwig, he plays Beethoven's greatest hits to your little one. This is such a wonderful gift idea for a baby shower, or to buy for anyone who has a small child. I have a bigger child, and as many of you know he's the world's biggest stuffed animal fan. He also happens to love classical music. That means when this came in the house, he begged to keep it. After taking it out of the box and examining it, I can see why he was so enamoured. This Virtuoso Bear is a little beauty!

It is a well-known fact that classical music is beneficial in so many ways for babies (to all of us, I'm sure, but definitely to babies). That makes this Ludwig (or Amadeus) premium plush the perfect gift to give to expectant parents. Moms can play the musical bears for baby before they are even born!

The Virtuoso Ludwig bear is made to resemble the famous composer, and he comes dressed completely in period clothing, which makes him stand out from the crowd of other stuffed animals that might be in baby's room. Truth be told though, if you're only going to get one stuffie for the little one, either of the Virtuoso bears from Vosego would be a perfect choice. They are premium plush in design, which means they have high quality stitching, are durable, and are super soft to the touch.

Bottoms up! On the backside of your bear, you'll find a hidden pouch that seals with Velcro; it holds the music box. It takes 2 AAA batteries, that are secured inside with a screw. Ludwig comes pre-programmed with 40 minutes of Beethoven's most beloved compositions. You simply press the bear's tummy to control the tunes. The volume is designed to go up or down, but only within safe parameters for a newborn's little ears. You can listen to the track a its entirety or you can skip tracks (there are 7 of them) with the push of a button (push the bear's tummy to control the device).

The side of the arm has a musical note, so anyone who sees it in the nursery will instantly recognize that it is musical.
I love that the bear stimulates curiosity for babies, or soothes them to sleep when they're tired. I also appreciate that Ludwig (and Amadeus) can be used to inspire a love of classical music for older children. Not only does the bear have the pre-programmed music box, but printed inside the hidden pocket where it is stored, on the material itself, is a first-person note 'from Ludwig Beethoven' that explains when and where he was born, and how he developed a love of musical composition. It's very sweet and has inspired my older son to take to YouTube to discover even more of the songs that were created by the famous composer. How sweet to see him playing the bear (that was sitting on his lap) in synch with the song that was playing on his iPod at the same time. :)

When it came time to go to sleep last night, my son (I know he's much older than the recommended age but like I said he is the world's BIGGEST stuffie fan), took Ludwig with him. My son (and yes, that is a Christmas blanket he's snuggled up in, that's another story for another day) slept with him tucked under his arm all night long. He also told the bear 'Good morning, Ludwig' when I woke him...before he said hello to me, lolol! The bear sees appreciative to get all of that loving, don't you think? Certainly he is ever-smiling. ;)

Little man doesn't have a birthday for quite awhile yet, nor is there another special holiday coming up soon, but I'm thinking of getting Amadeus so we have both of the Virtuoso Bears. I may put it away, or give it to him at the end of basketball season (as a prize for making the playoffs, which I am sure they are going to do yet again this season). My heart though, tells me to encourage you to consider this for any expectant parent. This is exactly the kind of gift moms love to receive at baby showers. It is unique, useful and sure to be a favorite of the little one when he or she arrives, plus it is something parents can use to interact and feel connected with their baby before birth. I know my children all responded to music when they were still in the womb, most especially true if it was classical music that I was playing. I highly recommend the Virtuoso Bears. I think they are absolutely perfect in every way, one of the best products I have come across in years. My son is in love with his, as am I.
