Six Great Games for Kids: A Lucky Winner Gets to Choose One to Call their Own!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

You may remember my post on the adorable and very fun Jumping Jack game I got my granddaughter for Easter. Such a great game for the kids, regardless of their age (my three grown kids were playing it too!). That selection was from Goliath Games, and they have a whole slew of others for sale, that I think you are also going to love. One lucky winner, will get to choose the game of their choice from those we talk about today (including Jumping Jack). Let's start with Domino Rally Ultra Power...

This game is intense! With two zig zag stairs, four tracks (two curved, two straight), a plane launcher (that launches), and over 150 brightly colored dominoes, this is a set that is going to keep you and the kids busy for quite awhile. Set up isn't instant, but the gratification of the time spent putting it together is totally worth it!

I like that kids can do this as a solo effort or in a group. There are a lots of parts and pieces, so in addition to teaching the fine art of building, it also has the ability to teach collaboration if you have chosen to work together. There are some small parts, and it is a bit challenging, so this one is recommended for children ages 6+.

Luckily, the instructions are very thorough and easy to follow. We are having a blast putting this together and are doing a little bit each day after school. I cannot wait for the grand finale. This game is Choice #1 for the giveaway.

Choice #2 for the giveaway is Jumping Jack. This game is adorable, cute and fun and because it has a bunny, I gifted it to my granddaughter for Easter. This is the one I told you even the grown kids (and me too!!) all like to play. You can read my entire review on that game, if you have not already, by clicking here. It really is one of our all-time faves now, and this game gets played a lot!

Choice #3 is Giggle Wiggle. This is for ages 4+ (it has small parts), 2-4 players. The concept is easy, and because it has music and wiggles, you know the littles are going to get their own giggles (and probably wiggles ;) ) when they are playing.

Giggle Wiggle is a cute caterpillar with hands and feet to spare! Race to place your colored marbles from his bottom row of hands all the way to the top as he wiggles to the music! Watch out — Giggle will try to knock off your marbles! If he does, just pick them up and keep racing. Giggle Wiggle is a twist turning race-to-the-top game for 2-4 players, ages 4 and up!

Choices #4 and #5 for the giveaway are SMATH and Make7.

SMATH
SMATH is a game that reminds me of scrabble, but instead of making words, you are making math equations. This is for 2-4 players and is recommended for ages 6+ It is really the kind of game that gets you thinking. This game from Pressman is challenging for kids, and it's good practice for the kids (and the adults) too!

Make7, also from Pressman is a connect the numbers tile game that also poses a bit of a thinking challenge for those who play. My gradmother definitely would have picked this one as her fave of the bunch. This kind of game was right up her alley, and we love it too! Games that incorporate effortless learning are always a big plus for family game nights (or days).

Challenge your friend and your mind with Make 7, the STEM game with an exciting twist that always adds up to fun! Players take turns dropping one tile down into any slot on the console. Just remember one simple rule – a 3 can only be placed so it lands on a RED square. The first player to get their color tiles to add up to 7 in any direction wins! Easy release knob on side of console allows to quickly release the tiles and you're ready to play again! Can you Make 7? For 2 players, ages 7 and up.

This is the classic wordsearch game (which I have always loved!) taken off of paper and brought to life in a board game! This is Choice #6 for the giveaway.

The race is on with this exciting version of the classic hidden word puzzle–it turns a solitary activity into a fun group word game as players go on a word search. Rotate the specially-designed circular board to reveal the word that the players will race to find on this turn. Everyone plays at once, and the first player to locate the word marks it with see-through colored tiles. With twists and turns that allow players to remove tiles played by competitors, Wordsearchers find the hidden word puzzles make a great game for kids and families to play together (and to boggle their minds with!). The player with the most tiles on the board at the end wins. For 2-4 players, ages 7 and up.
