Water is Even More Fun with COOP Sports!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Even though it's not officially summer, when Memorial Day weekend comes it's also time for the summer break from school. That means fun times are ahead, and playing outside, as all parents know, is paramount during the warmer months. So too, is water play!! COOP combines the two with extra fun toys that hold up well in or out of the water. We recently put two of them to the test.

There are swimming pools at our new apartment complex. We love it because it makes for an easy way to cool off and have fun at the same time when it gets super hot outside...and down here in South Florida, it definitely gets h.o.t. In fact, it's 99-degrees today at 1pm and it's only May. My son loves football (his new favorite sport to play, even more than soccer which he's been playing since he was little).

He takes the game very seriously, he's getting competitive in his old age, so when I told him we had a COOP Football for the pool, he was geeked. We threw it back and forth in the field and then we headed over to the pool.

At first it was just him and I throwing, but as everyone knows you can't have a group of boys and a football together in a space for long before they strike up a game. Several of the boys got in the water and several stayed outside on the edge (diving in to catch balls, of course). They had such a good time that when it was time for us to go, they wanted us to stay and my son did too.

This Hydro Football, ages 5+, retails for $12.99. Ready for some football? This 9.25" cool ball has real laces and a waterproof cover in bright colors. It's sized right for hands of all ages whether the game is taking place in the backyard, in the pool or at the beach. Great features like heavy duty stitching and a durable, inflatable bladder makes this a bargain at an allowance-friendly price sticker. Note to older brothers and dads, the double truck synthetic laces makes throwing spirals easier! This model is 100% waterproof and offers an incredible grip in or out of the water.

The COOP Hydro Springs Hoop is a floating basketball game that also makes for a fun way to spend time in the pool. The inflatable basketball and hoop structure takes a pump, so make sure you have one with you, or that you inflate it before you go.

We unfortunately did not realize that and took ours without one. As you can see it's going to be a cinch to get it up and running though. Simply inflate (comes with a needle, ball and the structure with attached net) and you're ready to play! We have a pump at home, so next time we go to the pool, we'll be ready!! This game looks as fun as the football. I'm sure it's going to draw a crowd as well. We have family coming tomorrow to spend the day at the beach. You can bet this will be inflated and going with us too. The football will be coming too.

Hydro Spring Hoops for ages 5+, retails for $19.99. Set up these baskets in the pool and bring your game for an inflatable basketball court. The patented inner spring provides stability in the water. Kids and grown-ups appreciate the fabric cover features sporting on-trend graphics. The enclosed inflatable ball boasts a textured grip for non-slip performance. The whole set has a twist and fold design for easy portability and storage. When play is over, fold the base flat and compact to tuck inside the carry/storage bag.

These are two of the awesome water toys you can get from the COOP Hydro Springs collection. Visit the website to learn more. You can also follow along on Facebook and/or Twitter.

  4. Now they would be fun in the pool. 99 degrees? Damn, you can keep that, but you could siphon off a bit and send it our way.

  7. Sometimes, swimming just becomes a boring activity so we have to make up more fun games in the water. Playing floating basketball sounds cool.
