20% Off #HimalayanSalt Lamp from Himalayan Salt Shop!

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

I have a grown son with a girlfriend who is an esthetician. That same son was here visiting not long ago, and he went nuts over my lamp from the Himalyan Salt Shop...not for himself, but for his girl. I guess it's something she always says she wants to buy. It also happened to be very close to the time they were going to celebrate their third year dating anniversary...so guess what my son ended up getting for his girl? Yep, the same lamp. She was DE-lighted! When she got her gift, she texted me a picture of her lamp all lit up at night, which made me laugh. I understand what all the fuss is about though, these lamps really are pretty great.

The lamp comes with a card that tells you a little bit about the product, and how to care for it. One thing to note, it does sweat when it's on (they tell you this too), so keep a coaster or something underneath it when you use it.

The lamps from Himalayan Salt Shop come in a variety of sizes and weights. I got the one that you probably see most often. It is attached to a sturdy base and has a simple on/off toggle swtich on the cord.

I had my youngest son hold it up so you get an idea for how big it is in size. Note! This lamp is heavy, so if you have a child hold it, be very careful (we were).

They emit a nice, soft light when they are on that is very comforting. You can run it in the daytime, or use it for a soft light at night. We do both. This is one of those things I've wanted to try for a long time. I'm glad now that I finally got the chance to do so. The Himalayn Salt Shop offers a large variety of lamps, and if this lamp is indicative of all that they offer, the quality is downright excellent. I highly recommend them if you're looking to purchase one for yourself. This would make a great gift idea too.

The Himalayan Salt Shop proudly offers a truly unique health and wellness product. I've read that these have a lot of health benefits. It's the salt we eat daily.

Would you believe I bought one of these a few weeks back? Mine has the rocks vs. the one solid rock. Love it.

That looks so pretty. We have ants here that like salt so I wonder if they would be attracted to this.

I use that kind of salt when I cook, I never thought about furniture being made out of it!

That's lovely. I bought my mum something similar (but you put a tealight under it) from a Christmas market and she loves it.

That's a unique light. I would use it for a night light. It seems good for that.

I don't think I have ever seen one of those lamps, if I did I didn't realize it was made of salt. Cool.

I've always wondered what they were -- I've seen them in stores. I love the look of it. I love a guy who goes beyond the flowers and candy to choose a gift.

This seems like such a retro piece to have! Wonder if you licked it what it would taste like? haha

Interesting, I've never heard of these. I use Himalayan Pink Salt in the kitchen, didn't realise the salt crystals are air purifiers, will have to check them out.
