Wordless Wednesday: Dragonfly Season?

I recently went with my son and his baby girl to the park. While there, I came across so many dragonflies. Truly, I've never seen so many in one place. I could even just randomly aim my camera towards the sky, and the photo would pick up a dragonfly.

Each picture below has a dragonfly in it, and it's just a small amount of the pics I took (I had to have proof that there were so many, lol!). Can you see them all? Cool, right?

  2. I love dragonflies. I never hurt one. Ever. I'll go out of my way to make sure they are safely off our boat as sometimes they pay us a visit.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. ☺

  5. They are so pretty. My parents used to have a pond, so they'd get them in their backyard. Otherwise I don't see a lot of them in Omaha.

  27. I love dragonflies! They're so cool! Apparently you must have some clean fresh water nearby, as they only 'hang around' the freshest/cleanest water. Or so I've been told. :) Great shots!!
