Superhero Cape with #Giveaway

Ah, Halloween is going to be here before you know it!! Today I've got two great items to review and give away from One Step Ahead: A pink Superhero Cape and a red one.

If your kids are anything like ours, they like to dress up year round. These are great for that, but they'd also be great to incorporate into a Halloween costume!! These capes are made of quality crushed stretch velvet and they are fully lined. They have an easy on/off closure AND they're machine washable. Yes, I did say machine washable (sigh a happy sigh with me, that's a feature parents always love).

On the back of the cape is a bold gold lightning bolt, which adds to the super hero allure. It is 23" in length, and you can see from the pictures above that it is a great size for both younger children (my granddaughter, who is in the first picture is 2) or older children (my son in the next picture down is 8). It is recommended for ages 3 and up.

My son has no problem at all playing the super hero. In fact, he's been dressing up and loving it, literally for years. I like it too because it pushes his imagination and it's a great way to pass the time (who doesn't love pretend  play??). In my eyes dress-up is a great way to let a kid be a kid.

Superheroes have to get their sleep too!

As for my granddaughter, who was running around with a dish towel in her neckline and pretending to be a superhero, she was more than happy to trade in her towel for a cape. In fact, both of the kids ended up taking a nap, and the funny thing was, those capes weren't coming off, lol. A super hero may get tired, but evidently, they still have to keep on their cape. ;)
