Talking FabKids and Memorial Day

Disclosure: I received a sample product from FabKids to help facilitate the review. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Today is Memorial Day. As always, we'll go to the parade, and when the soldiers come out, I'll start to cry. It doesn't matter that my oldest is now out of the military, I'll still cry. Gets me every time.

After the parade, we'll do the partying. There'll be games, face painting, balloons, bounce houses, and more. And my 7-year-old will love it.

How did I get my son ready for the holiday?

FabKids Denim Rockstar Outfit
First and foremost,

FabKids offers a variety of stylish, comfortable
clothing, loose enough for my son to move around in!
I got him a haircut.

He looks like a whole different kid, doesn't he? Except for the cool Denim Rockstar FabKids outfit he's sporting. That's the same in both pictures. ;)

Super Soft Short Sleeve Graphic Tee

Then I took him to get some eats in his belly. Along the way we stopped for your everyday super-critical moth rescue.

Operation Save the Moth
You can easily see the double stitched seams on the shirt. Nice!

A little moth was injured and my son with his big, very soft heart took about 20 minutes getting it safely to grass so it wouldn't burn up on the pavement. I stood on road (driveway) duty so my son wouldn't be in danger. ;)

Operation save the moth was a success.
The moth was successfully placed in the grass
just beyond the mulch you see here.

The mission was a very big deal, with the moth successfully (finally) getting his resting place in the grass. I didn't tell my son the moth had little chance to live regardless (it's wing was hurt), I just let him do his thing. His intentions were good and he was determined, so I just let it be. He was so super proud of himself for helping out the lil mothie.

We went inside, got him fed and then we were ready to get some Memorial Day activities up and running. That's what we're about to do now. I know he'll be comfy in his new FabKids outfit, and he'll be styling too.

FabKids Classic Straight Denim Pants

FabKids is a wonderful monthly subscription service where you receive an outfit for your child each and every month, and its delivered right to your front door. How does it work? There is a due date each month to buy an outfit. If you decide NOT to get an outfit for the month, you opt out by that date and you're fine. If you DO want the outfit, do nothing, your account will be charged one outfit credit, and then at your convenience, you can pick and choose which outfit you would like to have delivered. It's as simple as that...

If you find other items you'd like, you're welcome to buy any item(s) you like, at any time, and with the good sales and discounts always going on in one form or another, it's highly likely you'll want to do some FabKids shopping pretty regularly. Right now they're having a Buy One Outfit Get One Free sale that's hard to beat.

We've had our FabKids subscription for quite awhile now and we always love it, every single time. From experience, I can tell you that the clothes last a long time, they're very durable, and they wash up nicely. I highly recommend this subscription service to anyone with kids.

You can learn more about FabKids by visiting their website. You can also follow them on Facebook and/or Twitter.

  7. Fabkids is awesome! I do not have boys but know how hard it is to find cool boy clothes. They are awesome with doing this.

  8. His haircut and outfit are so cute! That is totally something Kyle would have done with the moth. He saw a squirrel get hit before and it was still (somewhat) alive. He put it in a box til it died and buried it.

  9. He is so stylish! I love all the clothes I've seen from FabKids. I haven't had a chance to go check them out fully yet but I intend to!
