We are Having a Good Time with our Funnybone Toys (with #giveaway)

Disclosure: I received sample products to help facilitate the review. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

 Funnybone Toys assortment

The time you spend with your child doing one-on-one activities is priceless, and I know as probably do you, that it's often the little things that help shape our fondest memories. I had a grandma with a cabinet full of board games and puzzles, and we played at least one almost every time we were together. Many years later, I still remember that time spent very fondly.  She also had a round tin, which probably had cookies in it once upon a time. It had a great picture on the top, a rainy day walking scene, which is why, I suspect now, she kept it. It was what was inside the box that was the treasure though. It was filled with buttons. See, my grandma was a sewer and if you sew, you've gotta have buttons. ;)  She kept that tin stored up high, but every once in awhile she'd take it down and let me sort through, count, and organize them. Oh how I loved going through that button stash. :)

Funnybone Toys understands it's the little things that help make the happy memories, and on their website, you'll find a whole array of items for playing or crafting that will help add elements of fun to your get together time with your little one.

Award-Winning Arrazzles. Recommended for ages 4+

Arrazles challenges the abstract builder in you to surface. :)

One of the items they sell is a game called Arrazzles. Arrazzles is recommended for ages 4+, and is a multiple award-winning item. It challenges the builder to create anything they would like out of flat geometric shapes. Sounds simple, right? And it is...that's the beauty of it. You can make the shapes be anything you want them to be.

Each card has one of five different patterns of slots which allows unlimited abstract building potential. They are made of stiff cardboard and covered in five different metallic colors. Each side has a different color and they are shiny too, so they reflect off of one another while you're building. You can use the hole in the middle to add extras...like straw or string (or whatever else you might have around the house), to amp up the creativity factor, or you can build them as-is. This box is recommended for ages 4+.

This small little box holds 30+ games in it!

Contents of the Funnybones Game

Another item they sell is the Funnybones game. Have you ever put a coin on your elbow and tried to catch it with your hand? Or put your hands on top of someone else's and tried to remove them before they could tap the top? If so, you've played games that are similar to what can be done with Funnybones. The game consists of 30 game challenges similar in nature to those just mentioned, and it can be played at any level from easy to hard. Games include Overhand Ones, Twos, Threes, and Fours; Clicks; Horses in the Stable; Eggs in the Basket, and more! Practice these games alone to improve skill, or play along with others for a challenge. Recommended for children ages 6+.

Funnybone Toys sells a huge variety of Rolli Stamps!

Funnybone Toys also sells a large variety of Rolli Stamps. These are dynamic little roller stamps that print up to 100 feet of continuous stream picture stamping fun. The uses for something like this are endless, but I instantly thought of classrooms, scrapbooks, cards, craft-time, Sunday School, etc.

The Rolli Stamps roll out in a smooth, continuous line.

They roll out pretty smoothly, and my 7-yr. old manipulated the stamp with ease. There are way too many pictures to list, but the seal with a ball on his nose was my favorite, and my son liked the hedgehog. All of them are cute.

Spec-Trix, yet another multi-award winner in the Funnybone Toys inventory, is a colorful take on the game of Rummy, played in multiple fast-paced rounds. The object is to be the first player to get rid of all the cards in your hand by placing them into a color sequence based on the order of colors in the guide card, or into collections of the same color. Players left with cards at the end of the each round are given points. Anyone reaching 100 points is eliminated from the game. Spec-trix is recommended for ages 8+ and it retails for $14.99.

  12. My girls go to their grandma's almost every Sunday. They are getting older, and Jason says "Why do they like to still go there all the time?" I'm pretty sure it's because she also has a closet full of board games that she plays with them every week. Kids do really love spending quality time together, and games are a great way to do that!
