It is no secret that I love things that smell good. In fact, I'd say it's one of my top 5 things. One way I indulge in scents is with great products, and in this case specifically, scented candles, that make my home smell oh so very good. Going left to right, I won a giveaway earlier this year on social media from Scentsible Pleasure. They were so generous with their prize and everything smelled so delicious! I'm so happy to be able to feature them here today. When Fall came around, I tried some candles from Unplug Soy Candles. They have coffee beans (actual coffee beans) in the soy wax, and so many scrumdiliumptious scents to try. DW Home Candles has extra cute designs for their selections (look at the soda cans!! 💞), perfect for gift giving, so I wanted to include them in the gift guide, for sure. Backyard Candles serves their all-natural soy candles with a cotton wick up in a real half coconut shell that floats! If that's not a fun gift to give, I don't know what is... And then if you love coffee (or FRIENDS) this Central Perk Candle from Insight Editions is THE MOST REALISTIC, delicious coffee candle I have ever smelled in my life. You can keep and use the whimsical mug long after the wax melts.

We sometimes do a game for gifts during the holiday season, where gifts are opened and potentially swapped. I have 3 grown kids and they're all pretty domestic now, getting excited about gifts for the home. They never thought that day would come, but I knew it would. 🎄🎅 For the swap this year, I've found 3 gorgeous sets of dishes to put in that draw. The first is a set of 6 vancasso Bonita Pasta Bowls, and what's special about them is not their gorgeous colors (though that is very appealing): it's their size!! This 24pc. porcelain set is perfect for hosting (because everything looks so pretty on an elegant white backdrop) but they're also durable enough for everyday use. I'm a fan (of all of them).

As I was putting together this holiday gift guide, it dawned on me that I have literally gifted a pair of boots or shoes from Lugz every year for over a decade. Sometimes, I'll purchase a pair for each of the kids (and when I say kids, please know that I mean young adults, since 3 of my kids are grown and have families of their own). When my teen was younger, I wrote about a couple of the books he designed (Star Wars and Marvel) and from the first time I saw them until still today, I have never come across anyone else who has equaled his magical talent.
