I'm one of those idiots who will adopt a pet because I could give it a fun name. There's a dog that I've been following on Facebook that got hit by a train and lost both of his legs, so they named him Lt. Dan (from Forrest Gump) and I told Jason that when he's available for adoption, I want him LOL. Of course, I'm a good pet owner too, not just wanting a dog for a funny name. I have my boxer's wheelchair still in storage that we used when she went paralyzed towards the last year and a half of her life that we'd put to use again.
Those videos get me every time. Have you seen the Asher House? They adopt some of the hardest cases. There's another guy too, I can't remember his name because I'm new to his Insta feed, but he seems great too. Love the ones that take the underdogs (literally and figuratively speaking). Keep us updated on Lt. Dan if he makes it over to your place. :) High Five for even considering!
I have not seen Asher House but I am going to go look them up now. I have a dream of having a big farm some day, not just for the cows, but to adopt all the unwanted dogs that I can, too. I feel like that Asher House would be quite an inspiration for my future goals.
This is the attention grabber! For a moment, before I reached the end of the sentence, I though, "hmm, it's interesting to have a termite as a pet!" Ha ha ha!
