This photo was generated with AI. I requested what I wanted, and then asked for revisions. It was created in seconds. Literally seconds. It's not perfect by any means. The trees look fake, the dog's legs could use improvement, etc. Still, I think it is amazing that you can say, 'dog jumping onto a raft in pool, with family and friends watching' and it will create the photo for you in seconds. Literally in seconds.
What a remarkable (if not slightly unsettling) thing. Have you tried AI photos yet?

It's amazing what AI can do! I make a concerted effort not to look at any hands made by AI, though. All those fingers wig me out.

ReplyDeleteI have not tried it myself, but I've been really amazed at some of the AI generated photos I've seen. One set that had me cracking up were the pics of residents of each of the 50 states. Indiana certainly had a Children of the Corn vibe going on there LOL

ReplyDeleteThere is a phenomenon called "the uncanny valley" which describes the uncomfortableness we feel when looking at an image like this. We know something is off about it..
