His Only Son in Theaters March 31st. $10 Amazon GC Giveaway

Disclosure: Many thanks to Angel Studios for providing a sample of the product for my review. Opinions are 100% my own.

It's important to remember that the men and women in the Bible were just like us, with families and personal sacrifices. "His Only Son," coming to theaters March 31st, does an excellent job of portraying this human side of Biblical figures. It does so starting with Abraham's struggle to leave his family for God's calling. His unwavering faith is inspiring, and we can't help but be in awe of his dedication to his beliefs.

We also see the pain of those left behind, as Abraham's wife watches him and their son depart. This aspect of the story is relatable to me as a mother and adds depth to the narrative.

The journey that Abraham takes is not an easy one, and the film's somber tone helps us empathize with his heartaches. While watching, we're reminded that being a Christian isn't always easy, but when we put God first, we can experience a peace that surpasses understanding, and He always works things out for the good of those who love him .

Overall, "His Only Son" is a compelling and emotional film that reminds us of the importance of faith in difficult times.

For the first time in a feature film, the controversial account of Abraham and Isaac will be brought to life on the big screen.

    1. My personal opinion, and this is just me, is to surround yourself with others who love Christ. It's so helpful to have others understand your journey and be there to encourage you (and vice versa) when needed.

  10. I think it's important to sometimes see something like this. It's helpful for kids to learn and know that not everything is about them. Sometimes, it's about how much others sacrifice for us.
