Mixbook and the New Family Pictures

Disclosure: I received a sample product or a discount code to make a purchase. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

A few weeks ago my daughter and I decided to take her girls to the closest photo studio (not such an easy thing to find these days) and get some pictures made. Per usual, I went crazy and had a million things made (well not a million, but you know what I mean), including this Acryclic Photo Block from Mixbook. I've had photos put on metal, stone, etc., but never acrylic. It turned out really cute and I have it on display in my living room so I can see it whenever I am in there. The colors came out vibrant like the photos, and dusting it will be a breeze (unlike intricate photo frames). I also like that it's small enough to move around easiliy if I want to do so.

Here's a side view so you can see that it's a block. It stands upright on it's own without wobbling, even when the cat jumped up there to explore (like she does with every new thing that comes into the house). 😸

I also had a photo book made (again, from Mixbook). This is the front. I loved this picture. It started off with the baby in the wagon, but she toppled over and big sis was happy to climb inside, lolol. You can choose different styles and formats for the book. I like this size because it's perfect for 'reading' to the littles.

These are the two pictures I had made for my wall. They are side-by-side on a metal print and I love it so much. I had to include them in the Mixbook too! On the left the photographer got one kiddo to smile, but the tempatation was too hard to resist and both of the kids are just being kids on the right (and that's super adorable to me).

You could crop pictures to suit your tastes, and I did that with the top photo, before I inserted it into the book. You can preview the look to see how it is going to turn out too, which is great because it helps you make sure the crop doesn't leave you with somethig grainy.

On the back of the book, I put quite a few of the photos on it using one of their many collage options. It's hard to see, just because of the way I took the picture, but in the 3rd picture on the top row, you see the youngest little beauty standing up using a stool. That is something she just started doing fairly recently and I cried the first time her mom sent over a picture of her doing that... mama had a placental abruption and baby was life-flighted to the hospital, had lost 90% of her blood, had a stroke, brain damage, and so on and so forth. We prayed and prayed for that little girl, and I'm so happy to say that she is just doing so well. She's happy (both of my daughter's girls are so happy!) and sunny and sweet. And she's developing just fine, better than fine! She has a few struggles, but that's okay! She's alive, and beautiful and sugarlicious wonderful too. They both are... and I love these photos.

Now to get dad in the next pictures... seems like he's always working when we do this!! Next time!!

I love too that Mixbook has a lot of options for me to use, to make keepsakes that I can gift and put around the house. Check out the site for yourself to see...there are really so many fantastic things that can be made.

When I ordered they gave me a link. Any new customer who uses it gets $20 off of an order, plus free shipping & handling (and I get a $20 credit to my account too!). I don't usually share links like this one, but it's a good coupon, and this is a good company that makes high quality photo products.
