Playmobil Mermaid Cove with Illuminated Dome Giveaway

My oldest granddaughter's birthday is in May, and I know this Playmobil Mermaid Cove with an Illuminated Dome is just the kind of toy that sends her over the moon. So, as a grandma who spoils her grandbabe twice a year (her birthday and Christmas, no regrets!) I think it should, of course, be wrapped up for her, and placed alongside her birthday cake (which will also be a mermaid or a unicorn, I suspect). She is at that perfect age where she can take a toy like this and turn it into a whole new world of fun and make-believe, and I know this one will keep us occupied for quite a long time, and on multiple visits.

There are 127 pieces to this set, and some of them are rather small, so this kit is recommended for ages 4+.  As you can see, the items included are not just any old selections, these are the pieces and parts that mermaid dreams are made of!! It has 5 mermaid figures that pose (you can bend the fins to make the mermaids 'swim,' sit or stand). A colorful dome that lights up when the pearls pass by, keeping the magical 'underwater mermaid area' glowing is included, with 5 collectible 'pearls.' And there are also many accessories such as mermaid pillows (a girl's gotta rest sometimes), coral, and marine life.

Assembly is as easy as snapping the pieces together. So while it does take some time to put together, it really isn't difficult at all. Plus the assembly is part of the fun, especially if you are my granddaughter who would be VERY meticulous about where she wants each piece of her pretend underwater land to go. It does take 3 AAA batteries to light the dome. Different effects take place as the pearls pass through on the snap-together track you decorate with flora and fauna.
