I've always been a huge Dennis Quaid fan, so I'm very happy to see he's starring in a new movie: The Hill. The storyline on this one captured my attention. Who doesn't love a good underdog story?
After getting kicked out of his church for asking town members not to smoke or chew tobacco during Sunday service, Pastor Hill loads his family into his car and his furniture on top of it. Only to find himself on the side of the road out of gas. Upset, he prays for a sign and gets a flat tire and a thunderstorm that soaks his furniture and his family to the bone.
Of course, things work out the way they are supposed to as the people who come to their rescue offer them a job pastoring the neighboring city's church. The youngest child wants to play baseball but the braces on his legs make his father hesitant to let him try. Of course, when the dream is in your heart, God always finds a way.

ReplyDeleteWow, The Hill sounds like an amazing movie with an inspiring underdog story. It's great to see Dennis Quaid taking on such a unique role. I can't wait to see how the story unfolds and how the characters overcome their challenges. It's always heartwarming to see how faith can guide people through the toughest of times. I'm definitely adding this one to my must-watch list!
