We Stocked Up on Food and Snacks for at Least 30 Days

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

Hello! As many of you have, so have we (quite a few days ago now), stocked up for at least 30 days on food. Now, while I am the kind of person who always likes to have a backup of each item in the house that we use regularly, for when we run out, I am not the kind of shopper who buys food in bulk! Until now. Since this was new territory for me, I made a mental list of how this kind of shopping would look for me. First and foremost, I wanted to buy items that were healthy, would satisfy my kiddo, and that wouldn't be eaten in 5 minutes flat (middle school boys like to snack/eat)! Items such as these Brainiac Kids pouches were the perfect selection to mark off all checks on that list. I particularly love that you can get them in a variety pack. The ones you see here have apple, strawberry and cinnamon. You can tell the difference easily by the different color of the twist caps.

Brainiac Kids biggest pro, in addition to the great taste (and it does have a great taste) is that it has been intentionally created with brain development in mind. 3 of the ingredients known for brain development in children are Omega-3 DHA/EPA, Omega-3 ALA, and Choline; this product has them all. I had coupons to try the Brainiac yogurt drinks, but then all of the self-quarantine actions (and later madanted social distancing) came into play, and I didn't get a chance to purchase any before my coupons expired. Like I said, we stocked up for 30 days so I don't see us headed into a grocery store until that time is up, and maybe even longer...but we will get back there eventually, and I will see if these are in stock. If they are, I'd like to try them. I have a family full of yogurt lovers.

For now though, we are perfectly content to have a nice stock of the applesauce pouches (and won't these be lovely on the go, once social distancing has passed?!). What a wonderful way to get a good amount of daily recommended nutrients to our children, that they might not normally get with other snacks of choice. Consider me a fan!

Brainiac Kids is helping to optimize children's brain development with delicious, convenient, and nutritious products that kids love, and parents feel good about too. With no added sugars and reasonable prices, it's an easy way for moms and dads to make sure daily nutrient needs are met (FACT: Only 20% of kids in the US currently get the rec'd daily brain nutrients!). Brainiac has packed its tasty applesauce pouches with a proprietary BrainPack®....a blend of nutrients developing brains need that includes Omega-3s, DHA and Choline. Plus, they have no added sugars! A no “brainer” for parents everywhere. They are sold in various stores nationwide, and online, including on Amazon.

  1. Everyone is doing their shopping different these days. We have always bought in bulk except for meat and fresh veggies. It's the way we are wired.

Have a fabulous day and be well, my friend. ♥

  2. They need that, so good they have a food that provides brain growth and development.

  3. I know you turned off comments to your last post. I understand why - and am the same.
Just the same some tears are healing.
Heartfelt hugs (non-infectious hugs) and oceans of caring are flowing to you and your family.

  4. Dropping down to this post to say yes, I will pray for your daughter and your mother.

  5. Getting the proper nutrition for the kiddos and us can be rough on a normal day, good to have it stocked up in this time.

  6. Big healing hugs on your post today. Prayers coming your way. ♥

  7. Stocking up is smart! Hope you stay safe and healthy!

  8. Jason's been doing all of our grocery shopping this past month and while I don't tend to buy in bulk, I found out that's the way he likes to shop LOL. These do sound really tasty and nutritious. A perfect snack to have on hand for when one can't or doesn't want to go to the market for fresh produce. These pouches are a nutritional lifesaver!
