Spring Break Travel Time: Just Around the Corner

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions stated are genuine and my own.

It will come as no surprise to those of you who visit here from time-to-time, that one thing I value when it comes to life, is travel. I think that visiting foreign places is a very special thing to do. There is something captivating about experiencing states, countries and cultures that are different from our own. My son just spent some time in the Los Angeles area. He is the second of my two grown children to visit, and he says it was absolutely a wonderful trip to take. I plan to head out that way this myself, sooner rather than later, and it won't take a big bite out of my budget (hurrah!) because we will be using Cheapoair.

You might already know that Cheapoair is the second largest seller of airline tickets in the United States. As a flight focused website, they take every consideration to help you find the best possible flight itinerary for you. They not only search for the flight you put into their website, they also offer the option to search for alternate ways you might like that go to and from the same destinations, using multiple flights. You could also take advantage of the Fusion Fares option to receive notifications for price fluctuations, definitely a solid way to save a ton of money! Another perk, one of many, that they also offer is fare predictor that allows passengers to look for less expensive flights using alternative dates (perfect for those planning a trip with flexible date options).

If you are not familiar with how to use the website, or you simply need assistance, agent travel specialists are there to help. It is so refreshing to come across a company that encourages person-to-person contact, rather than insisting you book online, or penalizing you if you don't! Another perk for phoning in, is that there are 'phone only' deals that offer savings to the consumers, but are so low they can only be conveyed in the moment, and not posted online. If you are on a budget; perhaps a young family, a person looking towards (or in) retirement, or you are simply minding your p's and q's, Cheapoair is the way to go.

In addition to all of these special contributions to help with your travel, they also offer a "Things to Do" series, that is hosted on the CheapOair MilesAway blog. This is where you can find city destination guides full of interesting and fun things to do while you are away from home. If this sounds familiar to you it is because there is a television program style video series called "Things to Do" that is hosted by Beau Rials, the CheapOair Travel Guy. What a great job he has!!, traveling extensively so he can bring information about various destinations to you, and to me. That is great because you learn a plethora of things, including little known facts and insights, that you might not otherwise be privy to in your trip planning process. This first episode for that series, I am happy to say, focuses on the lovely city of Los Angeles. If you are interested, you can check it out on the Cheapoair You Tube Channel, Things to Do, Los Angeles or visit the CheapOair Miles-Away blogsite (linked at the top of this paragraph or the bottom of the post).

This new channel is exciting not only because it helps you find the best things to do, and places to visit, but it also gives you background information on the city you are visiting. In the very near future, it will also offer followers the chance to be a part of exciting opportunities. No specific details can be revealed yet, but I promise it is going to be a lot of fun! You Tube and social media followers will be the first to get notice to enter. That in and of itself is exciting, but watching the different places where Rials will travel will be a big deal too.

I like this channel because it branches out to so many different areas. Watching one of these short videos can literally save you a ton of time. Anyone who likes to travel, knows that planning the itinerary is the part of the trip that can literally take the longest! Enjoy your time doing something else, as these videos are chock full of suggestions that will have you reaching for a pen and paper to quickly create your own trip. I know my son, who did recently have a wonderful trip to California, also spent a significant amount of time on his itinerary. Had he known about this, it is certain he would have utilized it. He's smart like that (he had a good mom, you know). :)  It is likely too, that he used this site, he would have saved a bundle on his flight. As a value-conscious millennial, with a family of his own, saving money is always important to him.
